Yep. His wedge game becomes suspect far too often on the weekends
His strokes gained for approach shots last week was his best in nearly 5 years which indicates that maybe the advice he got from Butch Harmon has had some positive impact.

Whether that will hold up under the pressure he's under at Augusta is another matter though. I'm sceptical of his chances, it's always talked of as a 2nd shot course and his accuracy with his irons and wedges is just nowhere near the level of the other top players. Plus he's had an inordinate number of big scores on holes this year, primarily due to going left off the tee which is the worst thing you can do at Augusta.

For Rory it's GIR he scrambles far to much at the masters, you need to be splid off the tee sure but you need to get on the greens in regulation
Rory’s the best driver in the World, but his short irons have been off, distance control in particular. But he can play short irons, if he gets that right this week and drive accurately then he’s in for a big week. His record at Augusta is actually pretty decent, he just needs to have one of those weeks where he’s super consistent.

Damn, Verne’s retiring after this year.

Damn, Ridley just said that they could play the Masters at 8000 yards.

Sad thing is he can treat the course like a par 67 if his three quarter game & mental game are dialed in. Disappointing.

Tbh everytime I have watched Liv recently I have felt that Bryson is in great touch and ripping the par 5’s apart. Yesterday was crazy but he still has a 76 in him somewhere. Rahm on other hand looks completely fried

I thought he was consistent today. Bryson has been up and down between birdies and bogies. Scottie the same but slightly better.
Definitely agree. He looks a million times more relaxed than he did last year when the pressure clearly got to him. Think his up and down on the first hole round 1 was vital to help settle him down

Bryson's hit spectators like 3 times today... and is still somehow leading despite that wild form. Wide open this right now.

Scottie just having fun, cracking jokes, looks like he's just out with the boys for a casual round. The rest of the field don't have a chance man.

The wind is a bit frustrating, I enjoy tough conditions but this seems pretty impossible to play in.
