City lose the ball in the box but we fail to capitalise. Harrison with a good save at the other end.

should make it if he’s even technically half decent then cos I think physically he’s already ready for PL.
Yep. We should snap him up on the cheap.

Can't be any worse than Lindelof surely.

Jack Kingdon definitely one of the unsung heroes of this team too. Doesn’t matter if he plays with Jackson, Munro, McAllister or Nolan, always looks solid and leads the defense.

Jack Kingdom is better that any center half in the first team. Reads the game really well and is aggressive when it matters

I don't think almost any of these boys are really that unsung amongst those who have watched them play each week. The consistently high quality and performances across the entire 'squad' is what makes this a strong team, more than any particular standout individuals. You can see that in the way everyone has different favourites, without much consensus on who is 'best'.

I get what you’re saying, but as one of those who watch them every week he’s barely mentioned. Does his job quietly.

Yeah he’s not though. Otherwise he’d be playing there ahead of Martínez, Varane, Maguire etc.

I think Fletcher has given the ball away more in this match than he has done all season

The amount of goals we’ve scored if often brought up, deservedly so, but the way this team works for each other and how dilligently every player does his job is just wonderful to watch.

Relatively quiet games from Scanlon and Amass considering how good they were in recent games but still we were a bit much for this City side.

Harrison has been impressive with his passing and did well with shot stopping when called upon. Wheatley continues to improve and impress. Next step for him is to improve his passing and use his body more during hold up. He's going to be handful if he can add some muscle to his already tall frame.

Jackson and Kingdon quietly going about their jobs without much fuss. Such a well drilled, quality team we have.

Another good first half performance. Really enjoyable to see how this group play so well as a team despite the regular personnel changes. Whoever plays they always seem to be a good tight knit group.

Really hope they can get the job done and win a much deserved trophy.

This team is so enjoyable to watch. Amass and Williams are having a quiet game on the left and Fletcher is kind of off, not really ticking. Otherwise a good game by all

True
It would be great if some of these could go on loan next season. Would love to see some of them in Holland

Yep. Hope they win it. The U18 Premier League final is probably around mid-May, would be nice if this group got to show their trophies in front of a full OT before a first team match. If they decide to do it, it’ll probably be with these two trophies (anti-jinx) in one of the last home games of the season.

HT changes (due to first team situation):

Wheatley, Amass & Jackson replaced by Ogunneye, Mantato and Biancheri.

Amass, Jackson and Wheatley are going to come off because of their involvement with the senior team. Hopefully doesn't disrupt us too much and we can get the job done.

Yup, I don't want them stagnating switching between u21 and first team bench. With Wilcox watching this game, hopefully he can find some good loans for these players.

A bit humiliating for City that we took off our two best players at HT. Of course that would’ve happened regardless of the score but still ;)

Yup.

And Wheatley is replaced by Biancheri who is no slouch either. I'm only concerned about Mantato playing LB. Ive only watched him play RW when he scored those 4 goals so don't know how good he is in defence.

He’s played plenty in defense, for England too. Good for his development to learn both positions. And no, you’re definitely right. Biancheri, Mantato and Ogunneye are not bad players to bring in.
