Maybe they can take ETH?
I don't think it's an impossible scenarioYou know what...
...I could see it.
He has worked there before and will need a new job come summer…Maybe they can take ETH?
The chaos didn't prevent us from reaching the semi final of the CL.Smart from Ralf to not accept going to that chaos that is Bayern right now. Good decision.
First of all I am for the first time optimistic for the Euros because of how the team played in the last games. Since also the 4 best 3rd placed teams will go to knock out, I think this should be manageble with 3-4 points. Even if we lose all 3 games, Rangnick will also be trusted with the World Cup qualifiers. There is currently such a good feeling, when Austria is playing. I never had this before in the nearly 30 years I am following our National team. The chaos didn't prevent us from reaching the semi final of the CL.
Whether it was a good decision we will know in 2 months time.
Having had a look on Austria's group with France, Holland and Poland, I wouldn't be surprised, if they don't reach the knockout stages and Rangnick will be without job in July.
He is wise not to take the job. It is setup for failure.Tweet

How about Ole and Ralf as co-managers? Ole can take the first half; Ralf the second half. Ole can give the inspirational speech before the match and Ralf can build the squad.Ole has to be the main contender now.
Uli Hoeneß seems extremely difficult to work with looking from the outside.Wow does he hate bayern or something. You dont see a lot of managers turning down a job from their own country especially when trophies are almost a given
I can't see how this wouldn't work. How about Ole and Ralf as co-managers? Ole can take the first half; Ralf the second half. Ole can give the inspirational speech before the match and Ralf can build the squad.
Outlawed for being too powerfulI can't see how this wouldn't work.
Don't think managers there get much, if any, transfer control. So rumors going around he has rejected Bayern.
Does anyone know what was his reservation?
It has been official for around a week now.So rumors going around he has rejected Bayern.

Also during their negotiations Uli Hoeneß made his "I will make myself heard even more in the future again" interview statement. I wouldn't be surprised if that didn't help to convince Rangnick to come to Bayern. It has been official for around a week now.
As for the reason(s) there's not much to go on, only rumor was that he basically wanted to usurp the job of newly appointed sporting director Eberl.
It's actually been confirmed he rejected them. Officially, he had personal reasons and it had nothing to do with the club although the chain of events with this sudden change of heart smells like Hoeneß' interview put Rangnick off (Hoeneß indirectly said that Rangnick is only their C solution). In the aftermath, Eberl said something along the lines of "sometimes, you're very disappointed that a door was shut before you but then suddenly, another one opens which you wouldn't have dared dreaming of before" so now Sky and co. are speculating on a Guardiola comeback if he wins the EPL with City this year.So rumors going around he has rejected Bayern.

It's really astonishing how obviously he is undermining his own club. So clear he has become a real liability for the club but he just can't let go and also lacks the self reflection to accept it. Not only in terms of communication. If you've heard how he completely ignores scientific facts in political discussions or how reluctant he is to everything new in general. I mean, this is a man who a few years ago claimed that he has no smartphone or even an email adress. Imagine Tuchel discussing a match with him and bringing up xG as he did in several interviews. Or discussing transfer targets and bringing up advanced data to prove your point. It is crazy to think that after all that happened, he still resides at the top of one of the biggest clubs in world football, making hundreds of millions in revenue annually. Also during their negotiations Uli Hoeneß made his "I will make myself heard even more in the future again" interview statement. I wouldn't be surprised if that didn't help to convince Rangnick to come to Bayern.
And also my favourite little theory is that Rangnick never actually was open to the move but wanted to take the opportunity to make his old foe Hoeneß look stupid. Which he did.
Wouldn't be surprised, if that's what happened. Ralf Rangnick is pretty much the antipode of a Bayern manager as much as Lembke would be it as director of sports. And also my favourite little theory is that Rangnick never actually was open to the move but wanted to take the opportunity to make his old foe Hoeneß look stupid. Which he did.
I don't see why. You have complete freedom to do what you want as long as it is the same thing Uli would have done.Uli Hoeneß seems extremely difficult to work with looking from the outside.
