He'll go Chelsea or Arsenal I reckon. He'd be mad to come here, especially if Arsenal really do want him.
All of a sudden one good month of form makes Chelsea a more sensible move than Manchester United.

Also at Arsenal he won't be more than a bench player. Saka will be their RW for sure, in the central position it's Odegaard. No way both of them will sit enough games.

Chelsea have just under 100 left footed RW players. Just have to add more to the collection.

Keep a clean shit tomorrow, United is my final bus

City have Grealish sat on the bench, Arsenal are obviously just trying to build a squad with similar quality in depth. I think there's an element of flexibility in the way they play too, and where these players could feature.

I think he would. They're apparently very interested. Besides, they play plenty of games. If there's any truth to reports of Olise and Sesko then they'll be assembling a very strong squad.
He isn't better than Saka. Maybe he'd rather be a squad player at Arsenal than a starter at United.

This "squad player" thing died ages ago. They play too many games as it is, and he'll feature prominently if he went there I think. They're not interested in buying him to sit on the bench.
He'll get games, but he won't be starting every week. Obviously. If that's enough for him, fine. However, he could be a much more important player elsewhere. That's the point.

To be back up to Palmer or Saka which is exactly what would happen seeing as they’re their respective clubs golden boys, you could make a far bigger case for Olise to join City or Liverpool over Chelsea or Arsenal and neither of those two need him either.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
I don't know what your FFP situation is, what your transfer budget is and what positions you want to spend that money on improving.

I'd imagine you need to sort out what is happening with Sancho, Antony and maybe even Greenwood before you spend what is probably a large % of your transfer budget on Olise.
We can manage about £400m within FFP. That’s not our budget but amortisation rules get us there.

If we do eight year deals, maybe more.. but we’re stupid not very stupid.

I'd say quite the opposite.

Outside of Pep very few managers properly rotate anymore. They rarely use all their subs. Squad players really are squad players.

If he wants a proper amount of games, which he should at his age, United are the better option clearly.

The squad thing didn't die at all - when you play big CL games, City, Spurs, Liverpool, United etc then you want to be first choice. Not playing in carabo cup games.

Makes no sense for him or Arsenal, anyway.

To be fair, He makes perfect sense for Arsenal. Saka was dead on his feet from late February/March. Had he been rested with a player of suitable quality coming in, they’d have possible had a better result in at least one match across the season, this wining the league.

The margins are so fine.

He could also play in Odegaards position in a pinch. The other player that is tough to rest.

They’re not United. They don’t need to sign players to take them up a level. They need players to keep their best level in every single match.

Either way, they need another right winger. Signing a player as good as Saka (if not as proven) for that spot is very Arteta.

This is the kind of Mahrez/Mane type of no brained signing that’ll have you pulling your hair out if we don’t get it over the line. If you consider our summer budget is probably close to 300m given the the profits of sales and the wages coming off books, he’d be a fifth of our total budget or so? Don’t see any reason why we shouldn’t be seeing him holding up a United shirt at Carrington as soon as possible.

I love Eze, but at the same time, I’m not too keen on us signing him to be a left winger. I’d like him to be in the central areas, which I doubt will happen here.
Do you see him making final 26 of England squad

Release clause probably isn't an issue. You just need to convince the player it is the right move, right club and right manager for him for his career for the next couple seasons.

This will be a recurring problem, when the player has a choice of City, Arsenal, or even Newcastle & Villa etc sniffing around.
Being brutally honestly, it's hard to see why a proven PL player such as Branthwaite, Guehi or Olise would currently choose United when they have other options.

Hopefully but won't be easy
Virtually impossible, given their wages. Neither will renegotiated their wages, as neither one of us would, but neither are worth anywhere near their wages even if we let them go on free transfers.

Sancho will take a pay cut to get out of Manchester. Think he's made it fairly clear that he doesn't really want to come back. Thus the only way for him to get a transfer is to cut his wages.

He'll be happier away from here so hopefully he's sensible and gets good advice.

His one on one ability is really really high. He easily pass players. And with his good finish. Really high level of creative. Chances and goals.

Adam Wharton is a must for me now. Bring the connection Wharton & Olise to United. Will be 2 key factors for United success in the future. Special when it come to create chances and scoring goals.

The club seems intent on buying every young “wonderkid” winger out there. And we already have so many options in the attacking midfield area.

I think the absolute last position we need to be throwing around £60m+ is Olise. Plus, he seems very similar stylistically to Palmer.
Yeah but the problem is they're all mediocre. Olise has double the goal contributions per 90 of Bruno who is our most productive attacking player. Olise adds a lot to the collective and strengthens us in areas we are currently weak. He's tall, defensively sound, great at set pieces, can offer great vision and passing to take some of the creative load off Bruno and can hopefully help get Rashford firing again with his deliveries. I would just cut losses with Antony, Pellistri, Greenwood and Sancho, recoup what we can and have Amad and the kids deputise at RW.

i think Olise is a must for this summer as he can play a couple different roles for United in the attack
