"Did you see Fabinho against Red Star & Cardiff?"
Just stay away from Coutinho! We might still do nothing!
We should be in for him. We're pretty light up top if one of Mane, Salah or Firmino gets injured.

Buddy if you think we're signing Dybala and Coutinho I have news for you.If the reports are correct, their transfer window could look like Ndombele, Coutinho, Dybala, Clarke and Sessegnon, which would be a serious statement of intent and probably makes their attacking depth close to City's. Never in a million years would I expect Levy to spend this much on players, especially on big wages. Absolute madness if they can pull it off.
looks like you are not buying into hype until you see official tweet from clubBuddy if you think we're signing Dybala and Coutinho I have news for you.
We may sign Sessegnon .. maybe Lo Celso if Eriksen goes.
Enough to challenge? I've said it many times but I'd rather see Spurs win the league than any of United's top 6 rivals. Another year of Liverpool and City fighting it out is enough to make me vomitLike the look of these options now from the front to midfield:
Kane, Son, Moura, Parrott
Eriksen, Lamela, Dele
GLC, Ndombele Winks Sissoko
Dier Wanyama
Much better squad depth and quality than we have had in a long time - very positive about the season now.
That midfield is fecking brilliant. So what would you say your starting XI is now? Something like this:
KaneMaybe still Eriksen as part of the 3 and Lamela-Moura out wide. Very good options to have.
Son-Lo Celso-Eriksen
Ndombele-Sissoko
Rose-Vertonghen-Alderweireld-Walker Peters
Lloris
I think we will have several tactical options now that we didnt have before - Poch seems to favour a diamond so that could mean Dier/Winks at the base with Lo Celso and Ndombele ahead and an attacking midfielder ahead of them Lamela/Eriksen/AlliSo what would you say your starting XI is now? Yeah I don't see why not - we have a lot of catching up to do to get to Liverpool and City's level obviously but we should be capable of being up there I think. Whether we can actually win the league - well hard to see past City for me but I'd like to think we will be much closer to them.Enough to challenge? I'm happy with it - Poch has got all his main targets from the rumours (apart from Dybala which I think was more of an opportunist move rather than a planned one) - we still probably need a right back but as transfer windows go, this is one of the best I can remember in a long time. How are Spurs fans on here rating the window then?
I'm personally satisfied with breaking our transfer record twice for two highly sought after players entering their prime as well as two prospects. Only position I'm worried about is right back, but overall I think we've done well.
Now that we've signed both Sessegnon and Lo Celso, and also kept Eriksen (although he could still leave for a European club), your expectations have been exceeded - yes?… But yeah, we'll wait and see what we do at the end of the window. My two expected scenarios are we either sign nobody, or we add Sessegnon and that's all. Which would be a solid signing for the future but not one (imo) which really improves us in the here and now. Personally I think we should be pushing hard for fernandes/lo celso in order to settle in an early Eriksen replacement.
Lo Celso is similar type of midfielder so think that's the replacement.Really hope we can convince Eriksen to stay now.
It's better than I thought. Still think we need/needed more but definitely better than I expected. Now that we've signed both Sessegnon and Lo Celso, and also kept Eriksen (although he could still leave for a European club), your expectations have been exceeded - yes?
I'm very surprised we haven't pursued a replacement for Kyle Walker, frankly. Been a huge hole there since he went to City. It's better than I thought. Still think we need/needed more but definitely better than I expected.
Very surprised the club hasn't properly pursued a replacement for Trippier and do believe we'll suffer for that this season as a result, but otherwise we're solid all round.
How has Villa's transfer window worked out? Has the squad/team been strengthened do you think?
Well, technically two for the future, counting Jack Clarke.I'd say it's a 7/10 window. Two players for the first team (one as a long term replacement for Eriksen) and one for the future.

Ah yes true, heard good things about him as well. We did alright in the end, excited to see Lo Celso in particular.Well, technically two for the future, counting Jack Clarke.
Haha, I've said this three seasons running now, this season I've given up.Lamela will be like a new signing....It has to happen at some point, hopefully its this season.
I'm not worried about Rose at all. For me he is still one of the better wingbacks in the Prem and hopefully Sessegnon will learn a lot from both him and Davies.I think we'll have a better balance to our midfield with Ndombele and Lo Celso even if we are to lose Eriksen. Last season we had Eriksen and Alli who had to do jobs that they were not ideally suited for, and I felt we were a little front heavy in terms of personnel. For me I am happy with our squad, and if we are a little more lucky with injuries we should be able to do better in the league compared to last season. I am still concerned about our fullbacks, but Foyth/Rose can surprise me, and if they do we have a fantastic squad.
I am less worried about our LB options than our RB for sure, we will see what happens. I'm positive going into the new season for sure.I'm not worried about Rose at all. For me he is still one of the better wingbacks in the Prem and hopefully Sessegnon will learn a lot from both him and Davies.
RB is problematic, I agree. But Dier is also a RB option (as well as Foyth, KWP and Aurier) - he's played there before a few times and been decent as I recall. But hopefully one of the RB options will come good this season - we shall see.
