Quite a few rested after Wednesday night.

It would have been harsh on Barnsley but I think it's equally harsh on United not getting it. Just one of those that you get on your day.

Frustrating game in general though, Barnsley have been very disciplined.

Fantastic skill there by Wilson.
He has done some good things but looks very raw. Some of our passing is terrible in good conditions, Gorre in particular drives me mad.
United's u16s have beaten Barnsley 3-0.

welll deserved win for barnsley, worked harder and passed better. I was very disapointed in some of the players, lacking basic technique something you do not expect from a United team at any level
We were outfought - the working-rate of some of the Barnsley-players in the first half was outstanding.
Ricketts-Hopkinson looked like a fine physical specimen with a bit of skill, but quite raw. If Byrne's out for a while I can see us taking a punt on him.
