Not sure if there was a thread on this but just after reading that the reason he was freed a few weeks was due to DNA evidence.

Seems a lot of similarities with the Central Park Five police wanting the case solved forcing people into giving false reports.

To be totally honest this time I was actually 50/50 on this he seemed to have a motive and it just seemed plausible it was him

Had nothing to do with DNA evidence in fairness, unless you mean lack of DNA evidence in the case?

Not sure how it was 50/50 ever for anyone, clearly J was talking completely out of his arse and being lead by police into lies due to their lack of understanding of the cell tower evidence. So stupid were the po po in leading J they had to re-interview him to try correcting their earlier mistakes.
The only “evidence” in the entire case was that he a muslim man looks at women differently and couldn’t handle being shamed by her, despite all the girls at school considering him a top mate and a great bloke and him still being good mates with Hay even after the break up.
Oh, and the cell “evidence” that actually had a massive disclaimer on them saying “incoming calls are not reliable for location data” :lol:

Absolute sham of a case/trial.
