Newport away spare available, yes you read that right!

The only catch is you need to be a ST holder who was unsuccessful in the ballot so I can forward it to you as it’s full collection in Newport and the deadline to forward is 9am this morning!

FV of course - PM ASAP if interested.
Your inbox must have gone crazy!

There's always one a season and there it is. How many messages did you get? :lol:

Imagine if you had posted on here asking for a spare for Newport, you would have been rounded on.

Then one pops up.

Someone asked two posts above it, no-one said a word.

And the actual spare was for ST holders rejected in the original ballot.

Anyone know when the date/time for the Everton game (10th march) is likely to be confirmed?

Do we know if Everton game will be on 9th March (Saturday), still says tbc date & time on United site.

How far in advance are TV picks done?

Cheers in advance.

They were due to be announced 25th January but they never stick to the dates. Just have to keep an eye out.

£42 for me from next season.

Also seen that TRA are taking the SE seats behind the goal where the execs are and the corner seats above the tunnel are up for requesting moves to. I'm in the opposite corner at the minute

My ST gonna be £779 next season. Was £703 last season. Rip off considering how shit we are
Same for us. Actually said to my son the other day that surely they wouldn’t have the nerve to put the prices up after what we’ve been served up this season.

Sneaking the email out to catch us in a good mood after last night too.

2 consecutive years of the price raise after around 10 years with none feels abit harsh. Does anyone know when the ST renewals end?

Need to let the club know your plans by 28 Feb and payment by 17 May.

I rang up on the off chance after renewals had ended and managed to get a pair. Your best bet is waiting till renewals has ended and trying and also trying after the payment date has gone.

No harm in a phone call.

renewals out, but no one can renew as they haven’t but the minimum amount of games you need to attend or sell/transfer yet.

is it up to Sheff Utd in mid March?

What's the story with this 17/19 in reality? Is it as big a problem as the noise being made on twitter?

I'm assuming they know you are there because you have scanned in, but if you simply let someone you know have access without the forwarding / sell back to the club option then it doesn't matter?

I know they do random checks, but the only time I ever have been asked anything was at Brighton away a few years back and even then the steward just asked if it was my own ticket without any further checks. Never had any questions at OT.

There’s a lot of very thick, angry people on Twitter. There’s no reason your seat should not be used and the stadium should not be full for every single match, pretty much. Your official options are:
  • Attend the match yourself;
  • Forward the ticket on to another member through the official system;
  • Sell it back to the club for the club to resell, with a full refund if it is resold (option available for most league and CL matches);
  • Donate it to the MU Foundation.
On top of that, you also have the unofficial option of just sharing your season ticket QR code with close friends and family you trust.

If your seat is still not being occupied, or is not made available to be occupied, more than two league matches a season with all those options, you aren’t really trying. The club are entirely right to try and eliminate the clusters of seats in the ground that are in the hands of the wealthy, who buy a season ticket with intent of only turning up for big matches. We had a strip of seats behind us in the Stretford End for years that were never filled apart from for Big 6 and big CL matches.

I'm of similiar thought. Loads of things to bash the club for ticket wise over the years. Not sure this is one of them.

Cheers. From the way I read it on twitter you could only forward it on twice a season via the options you have mentioned.

Seems a lot of noise about nothing really.

I haven't had any issues with moving on tickets for games I can't make but there's been the odd occasion where something comes up the night before and you are in two minds about going.

Different takes on this on this though, take my brother for example who has a two month old baby won't commit to any games at the moment, he will decided on the day or might even change his mind and hour before we are suppose to leave, like seriously what are you meant to do at point if you have already missed two games.

The club want to fill every seat and I fully support that but they also want to control how we sell our tickets on, If they really want to help with filling every seat they need to allow us to pass on our ticket to anyone of our choice, not just someone who has a paid membership, make them create an account etc so you have their details but don't charge them £40 for the pleasure of doing so.

The buyback scheme isn't a bad idea but at least leave it open until the day of the game, sell them at a discounted rate if you really want to fill every seat in the ground but that goes against the goal of squeezing every penny out of their supporters.

Yeah that's not true, you can forward it as many times you want, you just can't leave your seat empty twice.

There have been a couple of occasions this season where a mate has been delayed at work and it’s too late to get rid of his ticket officially, he just sends me the season ticket, I go in with it thereby making sure it’s been scanned and then tell the steward I have to go home for a family emergency, go out and then use my own season ticket to get in

You can forward to another member/sell back to the club and it'll count towards attendance even if it isn't used by that member or sold by the club. Doesn't impact away eligibility either for league games.

Genius !

Why don’t you just push the turnstile and don’t go through it and then do yours

Quick query,

Cutting it tight for the Everton game on March 9th (now it's confirmed for 12:30 kick off) and will have bags as I'll becoming straight from a flight.

Has anyone used the Bag Drop at OT? Is there much of a queue for it?

If you're coming in close to kickoff, then the queue should have cleared. It's after the game you're likely to queue for a good while, especially at the one by the North stand. The bag drop approaching from the East Stand (Matt Busby Way?), has a lot less traffic. In case that's your point of entry.

Had some friends get their card charged for City this morning. Nothing for me yet.

Quick question.
Galatasaray away match this season- did you need a passolig card to enter the stadium alongside the match ticket, or was it just the match ticket required? I know for home fans they needed both

So is the best time to call up after 28th Feb or 17th May?
