Very much men vs boys out there with him. He's a long way off being a regular for us. Those asking for him to be recalled might want to revise their opinion, he needs another season loan at least next season.

Amad is really struggling to get involved. And he's been very wasteful when actually on the ball.

He hasn’t done much wrong. Tracked his runner quite well. You cant do anything if team mates dont trust you with a pass.

Celtic 3-0 ahead .

Yep. A. 40 year old keeper letting in two long shots and the entire side not being able to hold the ball = Amad not being good enough

Rangers have been played off the park, you can't come to such a damning conclusion on his individual progress based on this game alone.

Couldn’t agree less...that Tavernier clown seems intent on not using him. Right wingers can’t dictate games...they need to be utilised and Rangers are pure shite with the ball. Panic stations. Not much Amad could do in that first half.

Some of you are way too precious about Amad and Hannibal etc. they should be star or standout players at worse clubs before they are realistically ever going to get regular games here.

This is a GREAT loan for Amad. Consecutive first team games for the first time? That atmosphere where a moment of magic could have made him a hero? In general teams will sit back and defend deep against him while attempting to kick him around the place? Perfect loan.

He’s just been really really poor so far. Celtic are winning all their battles. Should be about 5-0

Saw it in the last game as well though...seems reluctant to link up with Amad. Big problem when he is your right winger...need some link up on that side and it isn’t Amad’s attitude or positioning at fault.McCoist is a tool.

It just shows how much a Manager makes a difference
Rangers seem to be very light and outfought in midfield
This won’t happen in a Steven G Team

Not much quality on show, basically two teams trying to out-passion each other (of which Celtic are comfortably winning) - but Amad needs to do better than he has done in his few moments on the ball.

Cannot tell a lie. I am loving this :D

Tough night for Amad. Great experience for him though. The atmosphere sounds incredible. Won’t play in front a crowd as noisy/hostile as that many times in his career. Here’s hoping he can nick a goal or assist in the second half.

His movement off the ball being criticised by McCoist. Wonder where he’s picked that up…
Think it’s been fine. Rangers have been trying to play from the back yet can barely string 3 consecutive passes together.

He's miles off being a starter for us. Not surprising given he's barely played any senior football but I'm not seeing what the hype is about.

He hasn’t been that bad. Super tough game for him to look good anyway. Rangers are second best all over the pitch. Would be a huge ask for a player in his position to stand out in such a one-sided match.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.
Are they asking him to man mark their fullback? The lb keeps inverting leaving acres of space for their CB to step in and leaving the fullback completely isolated because Amad is man marking him. It’s weird. Is he a massive threat for Celtic?

People going a bit over the top.

Rangers have barely gone down the right side, and Celtic have domininated the game.#

Sure when he did get it he didn't do a huge amount, but their attack looks quite disjointed.

Oh my God, the workrate! I miss Park. ☹ In fact the workrate of the whole Celtic team. When's the last time you saw that kind of intensity from a United team?

Close Control and weight of pass beyond his years...calmness and football brain in possession...international caps at a young age...eye for goal. Hard not to see the potential to be fair.

You can’t expect him to carry a whole teams performance on his second ever game with the team...and where their attack is so disjointed they all just want to get it forward instead of trying to hold on to the ball. He hasn’t done anything but who has? How do you stand out in that Game?

A lot of people here (and I'm one of them) are watching a full SPL game for the first time in a while and quite a few are drawing conclusions based on little information (one game)

Amad hasn't been anything special but you can't expect anyone to make an impact if his team doesn't involve him, the RB keeps looking to go centrally and all the runs Amad has been making are being ignored. This atmosphere though, absolutely electric.

Incidentally, he's been hooked
