Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
The hype is so over the top for this lad it’s unfair. It doesn’t help with the likes of Rio mouthing off or Simon Stone writing an article on him for the BBC or some of the crazy comments on here.

He’s very talented but I think there will be a lot of toys thrown out of the pram over the next few weeks by our reactionary lot on here.
Agreed. I thought it was just guys on here joking around, but it seems to be all over all social media and even commentators.

We have a saying about youth around this part of Manchester. If they're old enough to bleed.. No wait wrong one... If they're good enough they're old enough,

I think we'll see him feature as a substitute only this season, and that's probably way down the line as well. If he creates waves in his cameo appearances, then maybe he'll start.

Generally, I think he won't get a full start until next season.

*Or maybe he'll get a start in the last game of the season after the title is already won.
Yes. We shouldn’t expect more and put to much pressure on him. Anything more is a bonus or a welcoming surprise.

Greenwood doesn't have Salah's pace and is some way off his dribbling at the moment. Whilst he protects the ball well enough, his success rate when driving at players isn't very good.
He's not a million miles off Salah's pace. He really is quite fast. And again he's not as good a dribbler but he's still very good at beating his opponent enough to get that fabulous shot away. The problem is that teams are doubling up on him because they're so afraid of his talent. If he can develop a relationship with Bissaka were he plays him in on the overlap half the time, that'll take a defender away and leave Greenwood the chance to front someone up and get his goalscoring form back.
Diallo offering a bit of competition will only help as well.

Ole didn’t exclude probability of his debut as soon as today...
Really? Didn't expect that. I still don't expect him to feature in the squad for today's game but I wish our FA cup tie wasn't Liverpool but some lower league team so the chance of Diallo starting and featuring in that game would have been much higher.

With the transfer fee and videos of him around, it's hard not to get carried away. However I really have high hopes for him in a sense that I believe he's kind of a player who could hit the ground running. Maybe not in the league but he could feature in cups/Europa sooner than we think. Some player have it. No need to wait too long. Rashford and Januzaj from the recent memory along with Greenwood showed age is just a number. I think Amad is in their bracket. OS I hope ole will give him a chance if he sees something in the training..

We really really need to get him on the pitch, we are so lopsided it's unbelievable that we have no specialist RW when we are craving for one. I'd really like to see him on the pitch for us once he's up to scratch with his fitness and training.

We know nothing about this guy, let alone you crying out for some kid who had played a few minutes of footy in a tinpot league like serie A.
Is it the club that have sunk this low or the fans?

I'd bet my life on him making an appearance in the next 5 games.

I wouldn't bet VDB gets a minute in the next 5 games, let alone Armadillo.
Let's face it we're a midfielders' graveyard, super talented boy comes from Italy making waves around Europe and now days later he's nowhere to be seen. Another one bites the dust. Yes white text.

You do spout some crap! Hope it’s tongue in cheek and I’ll gladly apologise

If you think Serie A is tinpot thrn you need to readjust your lenses mate. Do i really need to tell you what Serie A is about as a style of game?. Has the Italian NT not done enough in recent years to get recognition?. Or maybe you're not old enough to understand their league properly?. Tinpot league indeed

Furthermore its better to get a specialist RW to bring more natural balance to the team than play Rashy or Martial there out of position. Time for square players in square positions and nowhere better to start it than a few minutes vs Sheffield

Yeah I would like to see him at least make the bench on Sunday as think it will be tricky for him to make the matchday squad in the league with less substitutions available

The national team is completely different to what the league represents and while there maybe some big names that are playing in that league let’s be honest the quality is nowhere near the levels of bundesliga, premier league and probably la liga.

Maybe tinpot is a bit harsh in terms of actual status within world football if you put it next to ligue1 or the eredivisie but it’s is, in my opinion, boring and shit to watch and has constantly been tainted with corruption and scandal over the years.

Anyway my point in my original post wasn’t about the status of Serie A but have we as fans or as a club got to the point where we’re fixated on a young lad, which 6 months ago very few on here had heard about, to fix our problems? I hope he plays tonight has an amazing game and the world is talking about him as the next greatest thing but I really doubt that will happen.

I get excited about new signings like the next fan but reactions to signings like this young lad who has played very little first team football coming from a completely different country just seems a little sad to me.

Can anyone tell me if he's a RW that cuts in often or does he take it out wide?
I'd say cuts in and does like to occupy the half space (between the CB and fullback). I'd describe him as a wide play maker from the games ive watched off him at youth level which are available on YouTube if you're interested.
