Young Croatian striker, currently playing brilliantly at Rijeka.
He is Dinamo youth product but hasnt been given a chance there, Dinamo sold him to Rijeka 2 years ago and the rest is history.
Already has 24 goals in the league, 5 in the cup today he scored 5 goals against Lokomotiva.
Absolutely destroying everything in front of him. Scored a couple for NT too.

Our new Eduardo (pre injury of course) or even new Šuker if everything goes according to plan.

One to watch for sure.

Haven't had a chance to watch them but thought I'd throw in a couple of muppet comps for the thread mate. :)

Dinamo got Henriquez, scores for fun too. :)

Thanks mate!

He was born in Zagreb, grew up in the centre of town, got through Dinamo youth system but since he didnt have a contract with Zdravko Mamić, if anyone has heard of him, all the coaches in Dinamo, and there have been a bunch over the years, havent been giving him chances to prove himself or he was sent to Lokomotiva which is Dinamo B team..
I'm really glad for him. He's proving his worth finally.

Yup, but Dinamo's team is awful. It's good enough for Croatian league but we got smashed by Salzburg at home by 5-1 on thursday.
Dont get me wrong Henriquez is great but I think he realised where he came... And what kind and how much problems club is having right now.

I'm glad for Henriquez but I like to see a Zagreb born player scoring for Dinamo more. :)

poor business from Zdravko for letting him go. lucky for him, if Dinamo buy Henriquez he'll probably sell him for more than what Rijeka will get for Kramaric.

Yeah and Dinamo will gain nothing for the money received, just a bunch of lousy mercenaries.Good business for Mamić, bad business for Dinamo.

yeah, but those mercenaries will bring them titles anyway. if anything, it will be even more one-sided race in the next two seasons because Rijeka won't be able to replace Kramaric.

Who cares about titles when we get embarassed every year in Europe and are being slapped around silly?
Not to mention poisonous atmosphere in and around the club, empty stands and north korea like club managment, mamić brother as a coach and so on..

I got around to watching his vids, his first touch is class both with his right foot and his chest, he also looks mobile and pacey, definitely one to keep an eye on as there aren't a lot of top strikers around that aren't already at big clubs, so the key is snapping up the next generation of #9's early.

As I heard Borussia and Inter are interested.
Heard rumours Roma too, they would do great if they got him, they need a proper CF and currently they only have Destro..

Looks like he's being chased by a lot of clubs. The Mail say Juve have bid, Chelsea are interested...and Leicester.

he scores in Europe, too. 7 goals this season. I'd say he's now even better than Eduardo when he was in HNL. he should avoid Italy.

Juve have reached an agreement with his father apparently and are flying to Croatia tomorrow to talk with Rijeka.

Is it written in stone somewhere in the new Juventus stadium that they have to buy a striker every year?

@Mali_Zeus

What's his positioning and movement like? From the few moments I have seen, it seems like he still needs to work on those facets of his game. The defenders do give him a relatively easy ride from the moments I've seen, and in a better league, he'll have a tougher time outwitting defenders.

Otherwise, he's a great finisher of the ball. He also has decent ball control, so it's not like he's limited in his game. His heading is very good as well, and he looks difficult to stop when he makes runs beyond defenders.

Out of curiosity, what sort of setup is he involved in with Rijeka? What formation, tactics, and footballing style does he play in?

Yeah, he needs to get those things better and I'm sure he will once he'll play in better league, better opposition and opposing defenders better the player gets. Well some of them.
As for attacking I thing he has it all in his locker, he's not a old school CF but an out and out striker, he can head the ball, shoot from outside, inside, dribble, all.

Rijeka usually plays with 4-2-3-1 with Krama as a lone striker.

I can now see why his dribbling isn't that bad. That setup does help out-and-out strikers develop their dribbling, and it also requires them to move around more to make themselves available.

I do hope that a good team picks him up. He needs to play in a league where he has the chance to outwit defenders and improve his movement. I was going to say that Italy's a good destination for him to develop that, but I'm not sure if an Italian team would want to take a chance on him. Otherwise, England's a good location to develop his movement as well. A Bundesliga spell might not do him too much harm, but teams there don't really focus on defending.

I hear Juventus is a favorite to land him but anything can happen. Wherever he goes he should play regulary.

I still think he should avoid Italy, especially Juve. they already have Tevez and Llorente and they also bought Morata for 20 million, who's even younger than Kramaric. I think bundesliga (Wolfsburg) would be perfect for him.

We are overly reliant on Tevez right now. Llorente is decent but likely to be sold to a mid-table Spanish team, which is about his level. Giovinco's contract finishes this summer and he's off. Morata looks promising, but is far from the finished product.

So we will definitely need a new striker or two in the summer.

Apparently Simeone wants him. Primera whould be nice for him.

Juventus is a good shout, although I hope Roma will be smart and get him, they desperately need a striker who will bang goals.

Hm, don't need him, don't want him, simply not good enough.

Good that you're basing your opinion on sthing....

Not a good move imo if it happens, he could never see a 1st team action at CHelsea and could be lost in all those loans.. Like young keeper Delač. Hopefully it will be a happier story.
Move to Italy or La Liga would be a better option.

He'll be loaned out so I'm sure he'll be ok tbh.

Will he do that though?
All I have seen form him were crazy lobs from 30 meters, unmarked scoring (defender mostly doing nothing) from 16-18 meters and a ton of free headers in the goalkeeper-area. He can't do any of that in the PL.

We will see whether he's got anything else in his locker?

Chelsea still seem to have this incredible pulling power over young talent despite fecking up most of their careers.

It seems you have been watching the wrong videos....
And although it sounds crazy free headers sometimes happen in the PL too..
He has everything in his locker and in the PL he can improve on all aspects of his game.

Kramaric told to choose Leicester over Chelsea

Croatia international Andrej Kramaric has been advised to sign for Leicester despite Chelsea reportedly closing in on the striker.

Widespread reports in England and Croatia have claimed Rijeka striker Kramaric, 23, has been lined up as a potential successor to Didier Drogba.

Leicester are also reported to be keen, with owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha apparently ready to invest in January to boost his club in the relegation battle, but the player's father and representative, Joza Kramaric, said a move to the King Power Stadium would be the "worst choice" for his son.

Rijeka-based agent Predrag Racki, though, suggested Leicester may very well be the best option for Kramaric.

"Kramaric and his father had their brains washed regarding Leicester's position in the league table - like they'll get relegated, go bust or disappear," he told Sportske Novosti. "And what if Leicester stay up? They have another 19 games left - nothing's decided yet. And what if the owner refreshes the team with new signings worth 40 million?"

He warned that Kramaric would, along with fellow Croatians Matej Delac, Mario Pasalic and Stipe Perica, fail to make the grade for Chelsea.

"If he chooses Chelsea, Kramaric won't ever set foot on the Stamford Bridge pitch," he said. "He'll get lost in Holland, just like Delac, Pasalic or Perica. All that 'glitter' lasts two or three days.

"It's true that Leicester doesn't sound that attractive, but the 19 games for such a player is a real opportunity to showcase his talent. Prove yourself - you either got it or you don't."

Bloody hell, the agent's saying all that? Leicester must be paying a whopping percentage to him.

Hes got a good agent, shame his father isn't so wise...
