Obviously I know why Mason Greenwood is in Dubai rather than Oslo, but it's a shame that Elanga isn't at the Leeds game. I guess it's because he played for Sweden in the June internationals, but with all the other key attacking players absent then it would have been handy to have Elanga there - and it would have been good experience for him to be the 'senior' #9 leading the line for United.

Hopefully we get 20m for him
I think we could have got £20m-£25m if we pulled the trigger on him this time last year after Ralf got a decent tune out of him.

But seeing that ETH barely played him, it’s probably in the £10m-£15m range now.

How much you reckon for him then? Knowing us we’ll get less than 10m for him

15m will do nicely and to be fair he’d be worth that. He’s not a bad player he will do well at Everton.

Would be great to offload him for a decent fee. He has had plenty of chances to impress here and failed to do so. I hope he has a good career for another club.

I'd be happy with 7.5-10m. Some posters will bring up City's transfers etc, but am happy to get a lower amount while giving our youngsters a better chance.

I wouldn’t mind him and Gnonto. Strengthen us where we need it and relatively young with resell value if they do well for us.

Mirror reporting £8m-£10m is what we're looking for. Which is what I believe a club as incompetent at selling as us, would realistically get.
For 8M quid he’d be a good signing for about 13 PL clubs. He’s not a bad player and well worth that fee.

Ridiculous amount of money that he’s a 15m player easily

He's supposedly on relatively low wages (5k/week), so that shouldn't be an impediment to a sale.

They paid 40m for Iwobi.. Arsenal would've sold Elanga for 50m..

We're doing Everton a favour.. good player for 10m.. better than what they have

This is like some irresistible force meeting an immovable object type thing. Given the two clubs history of over paying and under selling, who will come out of this deal looking the most incompetent?

he's got potential to be a lower table/midtable EPL player. He should be around 12-15 mil, but the number of games he's played and higher wages and the fact that everyone knows he's a surplus should suggest we will be lucky to get around 10 tops.. still a good fee, need to ship him on..

Iwobi was 22/23 when he moved and scored 15 goals in 149 games for Arsenal.

Elanga is 21 and has scored 4 goals in 55 games for us.

Both back-up players for their clubs at the time. Similar situations and stats.

Arsenal got £28 million for Iwobi. Even with the ridiculous inflation in football, I bet we don't get 1/3 of that.
