Right, because Chelsea don't have enough players already.

Not that I give a shit. Buy him. Please

Sancho has been disappointing so they need a replacement?

After spending more than a billion pounds in players, this is what their owners feel is holding them back? That's awesome.

To answer you both in one gif:

Chelsea fans to put a positive spin on this in 3..2..1

Too bad Buttner played like a drunk taxi driver after a night out with his customers, who had bought him a few drinks.

Quite excited to see the birth of Antony the WB.

He is already here. We are paying him big bucks. Why not!

I can only assume that Chelsea are thinking we’re the problem and that they can sell Sancho and Antony on for a profit.

I’m not sure what price we’re thinking here but there’s definitely a world where Sancho could sell for more than £25 million on lower wages, but I don’t think they will be able to show enough in the Premier League. They would need to go to Italy, France etc and put in a good couple of seasons.

He doesn’t want to play there, so will display a very questionable attitude about having to!
That was as a LB when he threw half a tantrum when ETH played him there, no? At LWB he'll have more opportunities in the attacking areas and less so defensively. Maybe that'll be more acceptable to him.

Hmmm not sure I like the idea of having to sell doing your job to a player and see if they agree with it :nono:

Wing back is different from left back, he has the work rate defensively and needs to be coached to release the ball forward and Learn to cross the ball, however I see us wanting a player like Alvaro Fernandez for the buy back at £16.5m as a no brainer, Amorim might be sending out possibilities of Antony staying as he might need him to contribute before January, inevitably to only sell him, to put him in the shop window, although Amorim might favour Portuguese speaking players initially to get his message across.

They already done heavy lifting taking Sancho off us. We couldn't expect another gift as good as that.

good lads chelsea

jokes aside, he's absolutely finished now Bald is gone. He must know he's first in the bin

Of useless tricks in football where does Antony's roundabout rank?

The kids these days call two footed challenges a "Brexit"

I'd have given Antony one of them that day- even if I was on the same team!

Part of me wonders if their ventilation system is on the brink and their plan is to hook Antony into that to sort it out.

Horrible horrible fans. I hope Amorim isn’t as stupid as the lot here. We need more technical players than kick and run merchants.

Yeah I don’t get why that trick was so mocked. Obviously would have been far better if he didn’t yeet it straight out of play after but let the lad express himself. He seemed to lose all confidence after the fall out to this moment.

It was mocked because he looked like a circus clown doing tricks with nobody within 5 metres of him. He then fecked up the pass afterwards, the only useful part of that whole moment. Ronaldo did tricks, Nani did tricks, we loved them for it, because more often than not, they were doing it to get past a man. There was an effectiveness to it. Antony looked like a sunday league player who suddenly found himself in space and didn't know what to do with the ball.

If you want to do tricks for the sake of them, do them in the warm up to impress the crowd. In a match, do it to gain a tactical advantage, heck do it for no reason whatsoever as long as you don't mess up the simple stuff.

Just watch that gif and think about the better passing options that were available at that moment. I can see at least 3. Maybe he'd have seen them too if he wasn't spinning.
