Are PSG a failed project? | No.

The invincible Arsenal side lost 3-0 at home to Inter Milan in the UCL. They also lost at home to United 1-0 in the league Cup, and to Middlesbrough in the FA Cup. Does this affect the achievement of winning the PL unbeaten ?
Got knocked out at home to Chelsea too in the UCL.

But what has that got to do with the massive disparity in spend and quality between PSG and the rest of Ligue1? It's like putting prime Man City in the Championship and being impressed that they go unbeaten.

Or just prime Man City in the Prem.

Ye none of them are winning it. Barca is.

I don't know. Barca just play so wide open, if Dortmund had players with real quality they could have scored 7 or 8 against them. Flick won't back off that high line but it will be suicide against PSG.

PSG are also quite open. Be an entertaining game. Villa managed to score 3 past them

PSG and Barca still chasing a treble. Would make an incredible final if it came down to the UCL

should have killed the tie at the emirates:

I still put them as favourites. They have more than enough quality to blow Arsenal away and the Parc Des Princes is a toxic ground for away teams.

Their only enemy is themselves, as they tend lift off the gas pedal and start to do silly things when they're leading. We saw it with Aston Villa.

can someone start is Man United a failed project thread please

What a team they have built. Play the best football in Europe and the team is young

Think this is the first of many

Also very annoying that we have spent similar amounts for feck ALL

Said for years it wasn’t a failed project they took a side who had won next to nothing in their entire existence and made them one of the top teams in Europe

They went the wrong way about it for years, spending 200m on one player will never beat 50m on 4 quality players. Finally harnessed the brilliant talent and development that Paris has had for the past 30 years that was staring them in the face

Tell that to United it’s not working for us
Only someone who is five years old or has the mental faculties of someone who is five years old can compare PSG to United. Compare their spending to their revenues and the spending of their peers in the same league.

Also, United and “unlimited money” cannot possibly be used in the same sentence seriously. We spend a fraction of our revenue, they spend multiples of their real revenue

Congrats PSG! About time a non-English oil club won it.
And winning it after getting rid of their 3 mega stars feels even better.

There’s a big difference between them and us. When they make a mistake in the market like Muani, Ramos, Ugarte etc they can get away with it. They have the pick of the young talent in Paris and France overall, we do not have that luxury.

We could also get away with making a few mistakes in the market like that. But we just compound the mistakes until we are totally fecked

They’re have one of the best revenues in world football and spend money on the level of a club like United hence why I mentioned them you have gone way too fecking deep on the comment Jesus Christ calm down

In terms of the thread lock it up it’s been clear for years it’s far from a failed project they’ve taken a non entity and made them one of the biggest clubs in Europe

We were getting away with plenty of mistakes for years. We just refused to learn and we give failed players new contracts

Imagine praising a team that competes in a league where their wage bill is 6.9 times the average wage bill of others and 2.5 times the closest competitor.

They’re a stain on football and don’t deserve any praise. They can burn through money on Neymar and Messi and every failed version of themselves and continue going forever till something sticks.

Look at all those poor PSG fans having to celebrate dominating & winning a CL final under these owners. I bet it's eating them up from inside.
