Like Busby's Babes or Ferguson's Fledglings?
We already have Rashford, Lingard, McTominay and Pereira in the first team. With Greenwood, Tuanzebe, Fosu-Mensah, Garner, Chong, Gomes and maybe a couple of others that almost make a team.
Could this collection of players emulate the Babes of the Fledglings? Of course, we need a few additions from from outside the club (like Keane, Cantona etc), but could they be as good?
Rashford and McTommy seem to be be progressing nicely. Much is expected of Greenwood, Tuanzebe and Gomes but could they be as good as Scholes, Beckham and Giggs?
Is this present young generation missing some essential ingredients that might stop them from being as good as the home-grown greats of the past?
*Apologies if this subject has been covered already but I couldn't spot one.
