Yeah, he needs development and refinement, but the basics are all there: finishing, speed, movement. Properly solid PL and CL-level strikers have made a career out of much less than what Abraham has. Villa would have been the perfect move for him last season before they signed Watkins, but it now seems like it will be Arsenal who gets him.Abraham like you said very good goal poacher. But also very frustrating player. He need to develop further for that need regular game time.
Unfortunately at chelsea he won't get it. Hope he will do well where ever he plays next season.
West Ham would have been a good move for him too, to get on the radar and shop window for a bigger club. While a move to Arsenal just puts him in that purgatory situation where he has to be absolutely unreal to get on the radar of the big 2 in Spain or PSG, otherwise he's stuck where he is.
