Watched this all over the last few months. It was great, but I'm surprised to see there's gonna be another season. Thought it ended pretty perfectly.
3 seasons in, and this is how I feel about it too. Big fan of Bill Hader, Stephen Root and Henry Winkler, but there's not a likeable character in the whole show, except for maybe Noho.It is a very well written and acted shows. But now I am not sure what to make of the overall arc though. May be it is just me who is jaded of countless drama and dramedies with an unlikable or an anti-hero protagonist. I like that they don't establish too much sympathy for Barry and present his actions but I don't really care for any of the characters on the show at all which makes watching it tough.
The next season will be the last one so we would hope they have a great idea to close it all up.Watched this all over the last few months. It was great, but I'm surprised to see there's gonna be another season. Thought it ended pretty perfectly.
Didn't realise there was a new season - why didn't you say earlierThe new season is fantastic. This is better than Succession. I mean, it always was, but it probably needs saying since Succession has been so good lately.
To spite you.Didn't realise there was a new season - why didn't you say earlier
Thought as much.To spite you.
Perfect timing for a long train journey tomorrow. Thanks for notifying us all eventuallyActually it only started last week with a double episode drop, then the 3rd today (airing yesterday).
It’s a comedy without jokes and Bill Hader has the dramatic acting skills of a potato. The new season is fantastic. This is better than Succession. I mean, it always was, but it probably needs saying since Succession has been so good lately.

Tell me you haven't seen more more than five minutes of Barry without telling me you haven't seen more than five minutes of Barry. It’s a comedy without jokes and Bill Hader has the dramatic acting skills of a potato.
Original.Tell me you haven't seen more more than five minutes of Barry without telling me you haven't seen more than five minutes of Barry.
We can't all be Shakespearean wordsmiths like you. "Acting skills of a potato", how do you come up with this gold?Original.
You’re taking this a little thick. We can't all be Shakespearean wordsmiths like you. "Acting skills of a potato", how do you come up with this gold?
Are you a new version of ChatGPT, except trained exclusively on Twitter comments? You’re taking this a little thick.
Given your patter, I’d say you spend enough time on Twitter. Are you a new version of ChatGPT, except trained exclusively on Twitter comments?
I did prefer the first two seasons, I thought the shift in Barry from trying to be a better person to stone cold psycho in season 3 was just so sudden. I think this season has been a bit better than last one so far, not that 3 was awful it just, as you said, changed tone so suddenly, like watching a different showNot sure how I feel about the show, I enjoy watching it and it certainly has some strengths, but sometimes the tone seems all over the place for me. It's possibly intended to be so, but I'm still undecided as to whether it fully works on this show.
It's bonkers, but I think I'm into it. It was a bit of a set-up episode, I expect it to pick up for the rest of the season. This has taken an odd turn.
I think I'm the same. An 8 year time skip is strange but it's always been a strange show. It's bonkers, but I think I'm into it. It was a bit of a set-up episode, I expect it to pick up for the rest of the season.
The show was more contained before Barry was exposed, the last two seasons have been very wobbly. Not sure how I feel about the show, I enjoy watching it and it certainly has some strengths, but sometimes the tone seems all over the place for me. This guy has some of the greatest facial expressions and mannerisms.
Weirdly, his lack of eyebrows seems to accentuate it.This guy has some of the greatest facial expressions and mannerisms.
He’s amazing, love him. I also love Barry’s girlfriend on the show, Sarah Goldberg. This guy has some of the greatest facial expressions and mannerisms.
It started well but the time jump has ruined all momentum. Not a fan. This final season has been weird, to say the least.
Really struggle to see how they'll replace Succession + Barry for Sunday nights. Big shoes to fill!HBO had some combo running there.
Farewell to one of the best TV characters from the last few years.
That instantly bumped it up to a great finale for me. It's so typical of this show to just kill off the main character like that. No glorious shoot-out, just oh, wow.Thought it was a decent finale. Barry’s “oh, wow”
