once again...when will Bex be back?</strong><hr></blockquote>
You going down Nevada's on Sunday? I've never seen them lose when I've been in there, never even seen them draw - a win every time!

I would willingly give up Baros, Diouf and the undroppable one in return for Van Nis - he is easily in the top 5 strikers in the Prem and would be a great foil alongside Owen. Just a shame he plays for the Scum.</strong><hr></blockquote>
Oh yeah, cuz that'd be a fair swap for us.

Ruud what can i say...must be best striker in the world!
best players:
ruud - awesome
ole - one goal, one excellent assist.
silvestre - SAF vindicated for putting him to CB, if o'shea was there, Hakan would have scored..overall he had a very good game...</strong><hr></blockquote>
Agree with all that apart from O'Shea, you can't say he wouldn't have, and he's a great tackler himself. I thought we looked defensively rocky and the left wing was weaker offensively than it was against Newcastle. But enough of that, what a fecking player Ruud is!!!!!!!!!!
All his own work that second goal, and just awesome stuff. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

plan A: will get the train in on me Todd
plan B: if there's a noon relplay, i will ring Happy Jack at 9:15am and if we won i'll get my arse down there. if we lost, i'll roll over and go back to sleep.
fairweather and a half no? <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

yep o'shea is a good tackler.. altho he made weak challenges on set plays..and the reason why SAF put Silvestre there was due to the pace of their strikers.. i don't think JOS would have caught Hakan due to his lack of pace...
anyway, awesome result.

I proved that Murt's statistic was wrong and that there was only 1 defeat difference between the two formations. Livvie then pointed out that we won more games with 4-4-2 which makes sense since it scores more than 4-5-1 and hence more draws are turned into victories. But nothing will ever persuade you of what almost everyone else knows.</strong><hr></blockquote>
Murts statistic wernt a bit worng.
11 league losses, only 2 of them with a 451 start line up, Highbury & Pool @ home.
The 451 worked for us tonight aswell, we let in a goal after 31 seconds, nothing to do with the formation. Had we had a 442 line up we would have been in severe trouble. When we changed and pushed Olle up it unsettled their defence.

not too sure mate..
both were lucky to stay, spesh Scholsey.. four bad tackles, any other ref could have sent him..and fortune off.

We were 1-0 down with 4-5-1 and 3-0 with 4-4-2. Those stats were 3 domestic defeats and 2 Euro defeats (though I don't think I got to the knockout stages). We were much poorer today with the 4-5-1 than against Newcastle, until we changed the formation. As usual.

We could have been poor with the 442 today as well, like in the Bolton, Leeds & City games.
Had we pstarted with 442 we would still havve been a goal down after 30 seconds.
We scored 3 goals within minutes of changing to 442 and it was the change that did it. had we started with 442 we could have run into a brick wall after that with no way to change the game.

Too right.
Fab's crucial saves vastly outnumber his errors.

I can tell you that Michel Platini a "connaisseur" has praised him for that cross. He even said that the center was better than Ruud's header (he liked more his second goal).
