Talking about a footballer who could do everything, defend and attack. Who's your choice?

I'll suggest Beckenbaur.

This will end up being full of box-to-box midfielders.

Keane would be my pick.

O'Shea. Nutmegged Figo, lobbed Jens Lehmann and won a one-on-one against Robbie Keane. Naturally gifted striker, winger and goalkeeper, which is a good job considering he was primarily played as a full back, centre back and central midfielder.

The usual suspects - Franz Beckenbauer, Lothar Matthaus, Duncan Edwards, Ruud Gullit, Gary Docherty, John Charles...

Heard Duncan Edwards was meant to be the most complete ever according to those who saw him play.

Wasnt it Luis Enrique who was listed as DMF RLC in early versions of Championship Manager?

Mascherano?

We have more solar eclipses than Mascherano's goals.

Of the last 10 years, Essien (chelsea period) and Vidal.

Then the typical Mathaus, Beckenbauer, phil jones, etc

Can't go wrong with either Robson, Viera, Mathaus or Rijkaard in the modern era.

Maradona, couldn't get the ball off him, so he made the game easy for the rest of his team mates.
