These are mine:

Favourites:

Death of Stalin - Possibly my favourite of the lot. Genius scripting and outstanding performances from a large cast of older comic actors at the top of their game.
O Brother Where Art Thou - I love Coen brothers films and this is probably the one i like the most.
24 Hour Party People - Was much lauded at the time but seems to have been largely forgotten about in the years since. As an Arts student at the time, I loved all the wanky literary references in the narration, and Coogan is in the role he was born to play.
Juno- The colourful cinematography and twee-pop soundtrack really established a "feel good" tone, and it was refreshing to see a comedy which doesn't snidely poke fun at its characters.

Honourable mentions:

Sideways
In the Loop
Four Lions
State and Main
Punch Drunk Love
The Trip to Italy
The Lobster
The Wolf of Wall Street
High Fidelity

Hot Fuzz - just brilliant every time.
Paul - same
School of rock - Jack Black at his best.
Run fat boy run - nailed it again.
In Bruges - no words, just laughter.
Borat - not as good as I wanted it to be after SBC in his shows, but still...

Apart from Stiller comedies and School of Rock no American comedies spring to mind - White Chicks!

Cornetto trilogy
Police Academy 1-3
In Bruges
Tropic Thunder
Death of Stalin
Airplane

Too many more to count

But in the last Couple of years, Comedy is basically dead these days. Same 500 movies with 4 women in it and a fat chick HAS to go through a table or be apart of some physical accident. Or some sassy crap that no one finds funny and Hollywood thinking it’s hilarious. They just can’t do great comedy anymore. And the ones who can do it are either getting old or dead. Even Adam Sandler hasn’t been funny in 10 years.

My first thought was that it's not been a great decade for comedy but then I remembered how much i really enjoyed

Four Lions
Shaun of the Dead
Borat
What we do in the shadows
Team America
The Grand Budapest Hotel
In the loop
The Lego Movie
Adaptation

And realised it's actually been pretty good.

Comedy films are generally shit(Office Space is one of the exceptions, but that's from the 90s), but I enjoyed these:

Stepbrothers
Dodgeball(so silly it's good)
Rush Hour 2(the bloopers are the best part, but I like the chemistry between Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan)

Punch Drunk Love is great but I've never thought of it as a comedy exactly, though I suppose it is.

In hibernation
Death of Stalin
Old School
Wedding Crashers
Confessions of a Shopaholic
In Bruges (my favourite!)

A lot of good comedy shows though, have to say it’s a bottomless well there.

My wit's end
Most of the films posted here are what I'd consider 'off-kilter dramas' rather than comedies.

For me, a comedy is a film whose goal is to make its audience laugh. And the more laughs it produces, the better it is. This might be a weird take, but I never considered a movie like Dr Strangelove to be a comedy.

If we're talking simply about the most laughs, I'd go for: 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, Superbad and 40 Year Old Virgin, Deadpool 2 off the top of my head.
