Gaming Best Madden NFL game of all time?

I'm starting to want to get one of these on the PS4 and have read lots of reviews. Nearly all of them contrast with each other.

In general I am reading 2017 was the best. 2023 and 2024 you get intercepted all the time.

Any NFL experts with the lowdown?

Thanks. Am probably going to just get the latest one it's on offer for £13.99 until the 8th in the store. If it's terrible I'll pick up a physical copy of 17 for a couple of quid.
