Television Best shows to watch in Amazon(original or featured)

Anyways guys, what are the best series to watch in Amazon and Netflix?

Whether original content or something bought by Amazon?

Recently finished The Boys and Dexter, enjoyed both the shows(Dexter was disappointing mostly after Season 4, but still better than most of the crap we have to endure in Indian television since Star Plus came into existence).

So after Dexter, I am feeling kinda void, so what are the best shows in Amazon. Tried to search other Showtime classics, like The Wire and Homeland, but seems like they don't feature there.


So any recommendations?

Depends on what youre looking for, eg

Prime:
Vikings (its about.... Vikings) - 6 seasons done
Psych (which is really funny but not a sitcom) - This is finished, has a movie and a second movie coming out this year

Netflix:
Last Kingdom - 4th season just came out
Witcher (only 1 season)
Stranger Things - 3 seasons done, 4th on its way
White Collar (really enjoyed this, its fun show and its finished with a proper ending)


Im sure there are others I can recommend but depends what type of show you want to watch.

Amazon - Bosch, Goliath, Patriot, The Man in the High Castle, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. Not sure if all the seasons of Expanse are there.

Man in the high castle is very boring after a while for me. Vikings is amazing though.

Prime video is a bit shite sadly. I hear Crown is very good though.

Prime has less than Netflix but the quality is generally good.

Bosch, The Boys, Undone, Patriot all great shows. Then stuff Like Goliath, Ms. Maisel, Homecoming etc. pretty good too.

EDIT: Oh and Mr. Robot is on Prime, one of the best shows of the 2010's.

The Man in the High Castle is absolutely phenomenal for the first two seasons, and it's ok for the third, but in the fourth it shits the bed in the first minute and never cleans it off. It was THE Amazon show - don't forget- when it first came out and they still trashed it by refusing to fund more seasons. So they had to rush the ending and screw two of the characters and their arcs over because the actors had prior commitments. And instead of delaying production it was "feck it, just film the last season and get it done. We've already got as many subscriptions from this show as we're going to get to hurry the feck up".

Money trumping artistry unfortunately. It's not GoT levels of ruination when it comes to the ending. It doesn't leave a bitter taste that puts you off watching it again, it just feels like a completely different show in that fourth season. The different (replacement) characters are quite good and the ending doesn't feel out of place, but it's missing a lot of important story and character arcs plus the production feels bare bones. A bit of a mess towards the end because of it but still worth watching because, like I said, those first two seasons are fecking amazing.

Just finished first four seasons of Bosch, I found it excellent, thanks for recommending.
Next would be The Man in the Castle.

Homecoming is good on Prime. Well, the first season is, I’ve just started the second season and it seems promising from the first episode.

Not a TV show, but anyone with Prime should watch 'The Vast of Night'. Won't spoil anything, but it's an absolutely amazing indie/debut film and it's free. So yeah.
