Does Lisa and Bleeding Gums Murphy count? Amazing scene for me. It's so wholesome.

Or Lisa its your birthday song.

From chimpanA to chimpanZ is a grand line
That's a great line but I think this is better;

"
Troy: What's wrong with me?
Dr. Zaius: I think you're crazy.
Troy: I want a second opinion.
Dr. Zaius: You're also lazy."

Makes me smile every time someone talks about getting a second opinion in real life which has led to some awkward moments.

"He's about to hit a Chestnut tree" :lol:

I used to have 2 CD's that they released with songs from the shows!

The writers really don't get enough credit for that side of it.

I'm going to have to go for the Monorail!

It's the garbage man can for me - with the great line "who can clean me up before the big policeman's ball?"

Just brilliant getting U2 in there as well as a cameo!

Glad “the garbage man can” got a mention as it is one of my favourite episodes. And Lisa’s strike song is fantastic.

Can’t be bothered to find the links, but other solid mentions;
Flaming Moe’s
Scorpio (He’ll sting you with his dreams of power and wealth!)

I honestly can't believe how many amazing songs there are :lol: surely we'll never see another series like this. The early seasons are absolutely iconic, almost every single episode.

I might still have my “Simpsons sing the blues” CD lying around somewhere from when I was a kid, will have to see if I can find it.
