Pogba will have to play more centrally like he does for France. And I think he may be inclined to do so with Ronnie back.
 
cant anyone definitively answer if ronaldo played centre forward for juve?

obviously if he plays left wing he isn't doing so conventionally, isn't tracking back etc. but where did he actually line up?

This on current form but I expect Rashford to displace Pogba over the course of the season if he stays fit once he's recovered from his op.

Honestly, there is no reason why we shouldn’t play this at home to Newcastle. They will probably score on the counter but who gives a feck when we score 8?

Not officially as that on the team sheet they put him on the left wing

But he would always practically drift into positions you expect your n9 to be and he's been fulfilling that since 2015 so we should be fine
 
Some of these more…erm..optimistic lineups remind me of Spurs’ ‘famous five’ forward line in 94/95.

Goals scored: 66 (5th highest that season)
Goals conceded: 58

...would probably be my default XI before signing Ronaldo, not considering anything in particular.

So - replace Cavani with Ronaldo, I guess. Use him as a pure CF at any rate, exploit his finishing and movement (purely in an attacking sense).

Yes, a Fredless McFred in front a backline that sports Varane, who should not be forgotten on this glorious Good Friday. We can take our chances with a Fredless McFred with the vast upgrade over Lindelof we've brought in. And most of the time opponents will park the bus against us. It's not that hard to see even Chelsea sit back.

And with an attacking five of Pogba, Sancho, Bruno, Rashford and Ronaldo it's really hard to see us struggling to score goals against even top opponents.

Fingers crossed we've sorted out the set piece defending problem and that De Gea returns to his insane self of three seasons ago. Should that come to pass, oh my.

At least half of these teams are completely nuts.

Who was in that Spurs side? Before my time but I'll probably know the names.
