This will be a draw. We're putting out a weakened lineup and will pay a price for it.
We've taken everyone fit and ready to go...

Strikers: Berba and Chicharito, Rooney is injured, Owen is injured and Macheda has a virus.
Midfield: Gibson, Anderson also have a virus, Giggs injured
Defense: Evans has a virus, Rio is coming back from injury, and we have 2 matches in a short period of time...

OK, so given the squad that's travelled I'm expecting:

Kuszczak
Brown Smalling Vidic Evra
O'Shea
Fletcher Scholes
Nani -------------- Park
Berbatov

Yes Rio and Evans are out, but United have Vidic, Brown, Smalling and O'Shea who can all play there, Hargreaves, Anderson and Gibson are out, but Scholes has been rested, could also use O'Shea there, only problem I see is lack of depth upfront.

Unless United want to rest someone else, Obertan, Eikrim and Fabio seem to be fighting out not to be the one outfielder not in the matchsquad.

The crowd tonight will be relieved that Gibson hasn't travelled, they won't have the threat of constant bombardment from his miss hit shots.

True, Darron "Nine goals in Forty Four United games" Gibson is out, they'll have Carrick's high miss hit shots and the occassional blast from Scholes to worry about instead.

We all love United
PIG

Wes--Smalling--Vidic--Fabio

O'Shea

Carrick--Scholes

Park--Berbatov--Obertan

We'll do another smash and grab 1-0, maybe 2.

Hang on a minute, I've convinced myself we started this game at 17:30.

Not that I'm complaining, I'll get to watch the second half now :D

Same! Sky must have confused me over the weekend with their times or something.

Might seem a strange comment as we are playing away in Turkey which is always a difficult and hostile enviroment, but I think it will be an easier fixture than at Old Trafford as they, as the home team, will be expected to pick up some points against us. Sitting at the bottom of the table with 0 points, getting even a draw could see them dropping out of Europe completely.

They need to go for 3 points and as they are playing at home I expect them to go for it.

You guys should cook dishes appropriate to the corresponding countries for European aways.

I hope we get an Italian team in the next round.

And the round after that too.

Good line up. Lots of pace down the wings.

Carrick better pull his finger out. I fail to remember the last consistently good 90 minutes he's had in a match.
