"Can Manchester United score? They always score"
Gnabry played in the EPL and barely done anything.

Suddenly in the German league he's a world beater and signed for Bayern. Just because he is young, fast, and signed for cheap from the other dross in the league like usual.

Probably says more about the quality of the German league than Gnabry's quality IMO.

It's going to be really satisfying watching Bayern fade back into obscurity when Man Utd rise back up
.
This post is stupid on so many levels.

How does United rising up have to do with Bayern?

Bayern will never fall into obscurity as long as they have control over the German market and can get the best Bundesliga players to play for them.
Which should be very easy given that they're the only massive club in the country.

Why aren't we all over this? We desperately need a RW and after bayern's underhanded dealing, surely Chelsea would rather sell to us? I'd like CHO to stay at Chelsea but if not possible, I'd prefer Young English talent to stay in the premier league.

Yep, control over the Bundesliga, big wow

The Bundesliga is rubbish compared to the EPL. As soon as Klopp left that league died.

Players like Schurrle are a king in the Bundesliga and play for a club like Middlesbrough in the EPL.

They don't even show Bundesliga highlights on freeview TV in UK anymore, that's because the Bundesliga is the best league in the world and really going places, right . . .

I think this is where Chelsea fecked up and the main reason he wants to leave and fully justified imo.
As Duffer said, for a guy who just turned 18 in November, his opportunities have been good. Rashford broke through at the same age. Making his debut at 18 and 3 weeks~.

Not reasonable to expect him to have played more yet, so young.

He's had his head turned, he and family seem to have been tapped up. Very unsavoury way of doing business by Bayern.

Why would Chelsea prefer to sell to us? Why would they want to see their most valuable flourishing at a direct rival?

It's like asking if United would rather sell Rashford to Chelsea if Real Madrid were trying to tap him up. Answer: No way.

Rashford wasnt regarded as that big talent coming through IMO, i remember a lot were a bit surprised and he was under the radar a bit. Without the injury crisis, i am not sure he would have played for us so early. This fella though is hyped up with Sancho, so the patience is lower and he wants game time earlier, and his age is holding him back, not the talent.

He's played a grand total of 61 mins in the league, they haven't even bothered to put him on the bench in the remaining games either, his game time has been very limited. And given the fact the other players in his position have been trash and then going on to buy Pulisic Chelsea made every wrong move they could.

Granted he's played more in the Europa but the 2 full games he played were at the end of the year when it became clear he wants to leave.

Nobody is saying he should be an automatic starter but he's barely been given much time.

He has been a little unlucky with a few small injuries this season. I remember he came on in the first half against Watford (for an injured Pedro or Willian, can't remember who) but then pulled his hamstring and did not finish the game, missing the next couple when he would have played due to others also being injured.

It's annoying to see Bayern just taking advantage of the situation.
How? They're paying a premium for him.
This is great news for us. Imagine we wanted to sign him or Sancho if they didnt leave for Germany.
We would have to wait until they move abroad and then wait until they want to move again before we would have a chance.
Now we are one of the front runners if they get homesick etc.

Yeah that's a good way of looking at it. Didn't think of it like that. I suppose it's just annoying that Bayern always have a way of getting talents for cheap.

Why? What’s wrong with it? Personally l love it when things go wrong at rival clubs. The last thing I want to see at Chelsea is a world class youth player being there 10-15 years.

Disagree. For far too long clubs have been too tentative to play them and actually probably ruined a lot of careers. The only way to tell if these youngsters are actually good enough is to play them, consistently.

Maybe if you're an Everton.
That's never been the way at top clubs and is a very naive way of looking at things.
Teams would be consistently playing youngsters that aren't good enough for that level if this were the rule.

Sancho will go back to City if he returns to these shores (which won't be until his mid 20's if atall) and if CHO goes Bayern and furfills his potential the only way he leaves before he hits his twilight years is if he refuses to sign a new deal with them aswell.

You literally made that up!
Chelsea nearly signed Pogba the season before he came home. Sancho isn't abroad pining for City.
He may well go back to City but we have a far bigger chance at being his next club since he's not at our second biggest rivals.

I think we never had a chance to sign Pogba unfortunately, not only was he too expensive at the time (we were operating on minimul net spend in 2015) i think he always had his heart set to return to Manchester.

Sancho seems like he genuinely loves it there and has just signed a new deal. The Callum situation needs no explanation, Bayern won't even entertain any offers.

When do Bayern ever actually put their hand in their pocket and spend money?

They loaned the Madrid outcast Rodriguez and that's their biggest signing in about 5 years.

How Bayern plus their fans masquerade around pretending to be a top club in the world is beyond me.

Sancho has no great love or affection for City, they're just the club who didn't give him a chance. It's not like he's a Manchester lad who supported them as a kid, think he's from Watford or there abouts. I'd be surprised if he went back.

He's grew up in Kennington. About 3 miles from Stamford Bridge.

I don't think it is impatience, they realise their windows for earning are extremely small and are constantly only ever a bad injury away from it being gone completely.

Why would they shrink it further still by pottering around on loan at clubs that have no interest in developing you without your club committing to you until you are about 22/23 and even then there is a good chance you get released and are only picked up by a League 1 or ambitious League 2 set up.

Alternatively, get your move quickly to a reasonably high level and start earning and flourishing as a player.

A lot of players would do well to look at Hudson Odoi and Sancho's examples. It won't work out for all of them but young british players need to start forcing their clubs hand into playing them or considering them a serious part of the set up rather than something to satisfy the home grown quotas.

Very hilarious post.

How was Schurrle a king in Bundesliga?

Maybe it has something to do with being a regular in the CL-Semis? Just a wild guess though...

Starts against Sheffield Wednesday in the cup. Gives me a bit of hope he won't leave this transfer window.

How embarrassingly arrogant and daft to suggest Bayern aren’t a top club? So laughably silly.

Man, try to be a bit less arrogant, especially when you don't know a lot about the Bundesliga. Schurrle came to Fulham because he couldn't find a spot in a Bundesliga squad. There are a lot of starters for various Premier League teams who come from Bundesliga sites (Firminho, Sane, KdB...) and weren't even world beaters there. The conclusion is that they have developed in England, and of course not that the Premier League is weaker. The opposite (e.g. Gnabry who was a teen when he left England for Bremen) is true, too - and because of the lower amount of money in the system, some Bundesliga clubs have to rely on developing talent and have done so quite successfully.

In tendency, the Premier League is stronger, but you've paid quite a price for it (immense ticket prices, sugardaddies, huge TV deals that are only possible because a matchday stretches forever...).

Calm down and try to be a bit less carried away.
