Could be leaving Chelsea. Possible alternative to Sancho?
Wasn’t he very highly rated only a year ago?

I’m pretty sure he was the most highly rated of his age group at Chelsea. Unsure if he’s still the same player after a couple lengthy injuries in the last year or so.Is he any good?
I think you might be right here, I haven't seen him in a while though. I can only really remember him In a front 3, but not sure which side.Doesn’t he play on the left rather than the right?
Certainly was highly rated, doesn’t seem to have played much since his injury. If he does actually play on the right, then could be worth a punt. Chelsea seem to have no issue in selling players to us. He wouldn’t come cheap.
They've got their shiny new toys, they don't care about developing players in the slightest.Know a few chelsea fans who already said we could have him, probably not a ringing endorsement
Yea he was also one of the standouts from that U-17 WC winning side that included the likes of Foden, Sancho and GomesI’m pretty sure he was the most highly rated of his age group at Chelsea. Unsure if he’s still the same player after a couple lengthy injuries in the last year or so.
haha fair pointThey've got their shiny new toys, they don't care about developing players in the slightest.
Lampard hasn't developed anyone though, it's not like he's a good authority on the subject.Bayern rated him before he ruptured his Achilles tendon. As a person who has ruptured both my left and right Achilles tendon, I can tell you that you aren't the same after that injury. Hudson-Odoi was "the next big thing" prior to that injury. We've barely seen him since, and if Lampard is going to make such a young player available, it makes you wonder why...
Tend to agree. I saw a few games and I didn't see anything ground-breaking about him. He looked tidy and good 1v1 on occasions but not much else there.Probably the first name that comes to mind when I see the players you've never seen play well thread

Potentially has attitude problems. Threw a sex party with escorts during the lockdown and was accused of rape. If Chelsea are getting rid then they mustn't be too bothered to see him leave and they are giving a lot of chances to young English players now.
It wasn't long ago Chelsea fans were saying he was better than Sancho.
Don't want him. Even if we did, absolutely no chance Chelsea would sell him to their rivals.
Obligatory YT comp. Seems to be popping up quite a lot on the right tbf.
Money is money for most clubs. But Chelsea are a club in a position to be able to choose who they sell to. They don't need sales to be able to operate or bring players in. They certainly won't ship a player out to strengthen a team they are competing with.Money is money at the end of the day and if Chelsea have doubts about his attitude then I think they would take any decent bid wherever it came from.
True, Mounts a good example. I still don't think he's done enough to worry why he'd let go CHO. He's bought Ziyech and others for his role. Think he made up his mind a while ago on him. They gave him a massive contract and Bayern were happy to stump a lot of cash for him as an 18 year old, so he's obviously deemed to be talented. He has been more than willing to give Mount some chances. First at Derby and now at Chelsea

Yeah, I think it's an honest highlights video of him. By no means the finished article. For an 18/19 year old, he has a lot of qualities there to show he could develop into an incredible winger.I know I'm impatient, but I switched off after 3 minutes - that video was a borderline blooper reel.

Like I said though, that was all pre-Achilles injury. Perhaps he didn't come back the same player. I know I didn't after I snapped mine. As for the youth, he's also given Gilmour some runs as he slowly gets him into the first team, as well as Reese James. it's not a lot. But way more than previous Chelsea managers...
He doesnt look anywhere near the same. Looks a lot more tentaive and slower. And is a lot less aggressive in attacking the fullback.Didn’t he get quite a serious injury recently? Maybe that’s affected him in some way.
