One last payday. He won everything there is with Real and they already have two new midfielders to take over needing playing time.
I predict no proper muppet train on this. At most one or two carriages.
They have Camavinga and Tchouameni so they may be looking to cash in while they can. Casemiro wanting the move is a completely different matter of course.
If they could get Mr T on a plane…
We'll probably buy Tchouameni for £150 in 2026.

Bayern, City, Liverpool or Chelsea don’t need / have players of sufficient quality to not overpay for a 30 years old player. Of course Casemiro would be able to get a starting spot, but it would’ve been a marginal improvement for these teams compared to what it may mean for United

Eduardo Camavinga will only keep on growing and taking over Casemiro's job down the road. With a World Cup lurking on the horizon, Casemiro will want as much playing time as possible too.
