If Roma wins who finishes top of their group? Most of the big teams are finishing top of their group so would be good to have Madrid 2nd to spice things up

So England are the only league with 4 representatives in the Round of 16, Germany and Spain have 3 while Italy will have 2.

Time to restart the 'Relative strength of the Premier League' thread? :D

You can check here the points:

2018 England ended up #1 ending Spain dominance on coefficient score for I think more than 5 straight years

And here is how they average 5 last years to calculate country coefficients:

Honestly while the bottom half of the Premier League is shite, who else in the other Leagues are as good as Arsenal and Chelsea in the Europa? The strength of the Premier League at the top is pretty crazy all while their dominant team for 20 years is going through a terrible phase. Bayern have had times of lesser ability that they have consistently got away with but United suffer a transition period and we are instantly punished. I'd accept that the overall 20 in some Leagues is better than the PL but no other League has a top 6 as strong as England right now. Also Everton would give a lot of 7th teams in each League a good game.

Real wins the group no matter what happens. The first tiebreaker is head-to-head and Real won vs Roma.

Battle for Europa is intense in this group. Plzen and CSKA have switched places a dozen times during the last hour and half.

Crazy that CSKA will win both games against RM and still won't qualify. As it stands

Wasn't Akinfeev the goalkeeper that had gone something like a decade without a clean sheet in Europe?

Yep. Replacing Ronaldo went well. They will get spanked in the knockout stages.

Apparently Valencia were half way towards building a new stadium near the airport in 2009. Anyone know what went wrong?

I think the two games in Group G show how ridiculous some of these dead rubbers are. Real Madrid & Roma have obviously not bothered to turn up for their games as they have already qualified making a mockery of the tournament. Yes I know CSKA Moscow & Viktoria Plzen are fighting who gets into the Europa League, which the latter seemingly won with their -9 goal difference, so thereby rewarding failure for coming nowhere.

Not sure about that, their half-built new ground is quite close to the Mestalla.
