Allegri is thinking of a permanent switch to 4-3-3 in order to cover our ar*e without penalising the attacking mojo.

Group H is done. Spurs play Apoel at home next

A draw is everything Spurs will want from their game to secure top spot as their next game is against Apoel.

Liverpool - Sevilla and Juve - Barce are the most interesting matches. Roma and Atletico will be a good one but Roma should really win.

Spurs don't need to draw today. All they need is 3 points, which they will easily get at home against apoel. Tonight's game kinda meaningless to them

Group C is the most interesting. A freak loss to Qarabag for Chelsea (unlikely) or even a draw, and Atleti beating Roma means the Group will be pretty tight.

Qarabag are more resilient at their ground, or so it seems. Certainly can't be taken lightly.

Really really hoping Madrid pip Spurs to first place. Need a favour from Dortmund. Don't want Mourinho meeting Real in the next round.

I think group C is all set and done. Chelsea should comfortably win in Azerbaijan today, meaning Atletico won't be able to catch them even if they beat them, and Roma will also beat Qarabag at home in the last round of games therefore Atletico won't catch them either. Atletico are out, which is what you can realistically expect when you are unable to beat Qarabag Agdam even once.

If Monaco beat Leipzig tonight, the group G is going to be proper tight. I think Besiktas will beat Porto so they'll be out of the race.

They could lose away at Dortmund tonight to throw the group winners slot open again. We can hardly make this totally subjective !
So long as they beat apoel at home they're first

Our game is a big test considering Sevilla's home record in Europe. It'd be nice to see Lallana get some minutes.

Anything worth watching tonight? Sevilla vs LFC?
Besiktas and Porto is 1-1 at halftime. If Porto don't win, then the Leipzig-Monaco match means the winner will go through if they win next round too, and both teams are young and have lots of exciting young talent and transfer possibilities (Lemar, Keita, Tielemans, Jorge, Bruma, Forsberg, Werner). I'd have that number one unless Porto gets the win here.

I'd say Liverpool-Sevilla is #2. Sevilla have Maribor in 2 weeks so Liverpool probably need a win or they'll have to get a result against Spartak or they're out.

Napoli-Shaktar might be decent since Napoli always good to watch and they have to win, but if they do, they only need to beat Feyenoord next week and hope City's squaddies can beat Shaktar and then it's down to goal difference.

I can't believe Dortmund's game doesn't really matter, but Madrid would have to lose to Apoel for it to, and even with Madrid's weird form that's tough to see happening.

They are top of the group for a reason. Best Turkish team in recent years.
Agreed. Have loved watching them play this season. Depending on how kind the draws are to them, they could do very well.

Incredible how Klopp has benched Milner after a good season.

Well well. Since Spartak have just drawn 1-1 at home to Maribor it means all we need is a draw at home against them to go through, and that includes if we were to lose tonight. Hopefully we can wrap up top spot tonight though.
