Keepers aren't worse. They're making sure keepers stay on their line these days. It makes it far harder to make saves. Of course they give a shit. They have professional pride. It's a game to win a trophy.

He had every right to bring on his best penalty goalkeeper. Being taller also means that it takes more time to go the ground in case of a low shot. Nothing to take from it.

Honestly, would you as the Bayern Munich manager have replaced Manuel Neuer - arguably the best goalkeeper of the last decade with whoever backup they have because that backup is potentially more agile despite his shorter height?
