He is absolute spot on. We need to move on. Ole has not done terribly, but he is not a world class manager. It is similar to Lampard for Chelsea that did a similar job, but not the top manager they needed.

That said, many people on this forum have expressed doubts about whether the team can compete for serious trophies under Ole and today is another reason to doubt it.

When you first are in the competition, obviously its much better to win it than to lose it, but this is not a competition that a club of Uniteds size has any business participating in the first place.
I'd say winning the EL is the minimum one can expect at a club like United.
