The real-life cringe factor on that is massive. Gets me every time.
That as a moment in and of itself isn't that bad, you would have to expect your captain to say something to keep your team going. It is only after the actual slip that it makes it bad.

Yes, but if you watch that carefully, you will see that the ref took a dive.
And THAT is why it was cringe worthy, because the damn ref took a dive and made an absolute meal of it.
