If Gerrard plays against us then I think the suspicious nature of his reluctance to play for England, plus the ease at which we are beating the Croats proves that he should be permanently axed from the starting line up
Spot on mate.

Anyone noticed how tactically Capello based his England team like MU:

with a straight back 4, then two midfielders in front of the defence (Lampard/Barry or Scholes/Carrick at MU).

2 offensive wingers (cole/Walcott or Ronaldo/Nani at MU)

A second striker that played very deep - Rooney playing the Tevez role at MU

And last but not least Heskey playing as a target man imitating Rooney at MU - i.e. having a good game but no goals.

Or it could be a standard 4-4-2 with Rooney dropping deep.

Our tactical system isn't a genius or anything, you know. Simple, easy and effective, and everyone has their own individual playing style which happens to complement the rest of the team.

Great win for England. It shouldn't be blown out of proportion though. Everyone was slagging off Capello before then. Walcott was brilliant. I heard so many complaining before the game that he was picked over Beckham.

They have jails in the stands in Zagreb? Not a bad idea tbh. Just need to keep it away from the family sections so they can't see the bumming

Ridiculous statement.
