Getting tired of these lot

Today

The lucky free kick at Selhurst

Facing us at our absolute worst when Rangnick was halfway out the door

Playing us after the covid season when we had no preseason

Wouldn't mind them slipping down to the championship

They're just one of those pointless teams whose only achievement is sticking it to bigger teams here and there.
Had a spell of upsetting City, and we all remember Crystanbul

They're one of those pain in the arse semi-shit teams that lull you into a false sense of security by being really shit in games, only to then completely turn it around and give max effort when you think you've the game won.

comfortable and settled in my rut
They are what Middlesbrough used to be. Full of players who if they put half the effort in for every game that they do against the bigger teams, wouldn’t be stuck playing for Palace.

Tbf they did also have the misfortune of playing us during the 30 minutes when it looked like our players could be arsed playing Rangnick's football.

One of those annoying teams that play shit against everyone below the top 4 but raise their game against the others

They're horrible when it's your turn to play them but in fairness they're good for the league as they take points off of the other big boys too

I don't remember an easy game against them, home or away. Ragnick's first game was a lucky 1-0 at home as well and before that we had that last minute Matic screamer.

Weird. Decent team and decent club. Always pose a threat to top teams. Also made Liverpool cry a few times

Wouldn’t go as far as bogey team because they never actually beat us that much (well three times since 2019 so a decent amount) but yeah they are definitely a very very irritating opponent. Don’t like our games against them. They always seem to be a gigantic struggle regardless.
I don’t ever remember going “that was a nice comfy win over palace”…

No way!

What’s all the fuss about then?
Last 8 games against them its 3 Utd wins 3 Palace wins and 2 draws so it has been a tough fixture for us recently.

We had previously lost once against them in 27 matches so it probably makes the last few years seem even more difficult because they used to be a guaranteed 6 points every year pretty much.

Just shown my better half (Palace fan) this thread. She said the same like above "hang one we've only beaten them once at Selhurst in about 50 years!"

Sure at least one of the away wins at OT was during lockdown aswell.

Wolves up to recently were that mid table team who caused you endless issues with their low block home and away.

What is irritating is that with the exception of last season. United have had to play Palace at Selhurst Park on a Wednesday night at 8.00 pm. I listened to the Athletic and this was a gripe from Andy Mitten as once again shows that TV rights takes precedent over traveling fans as some some have to leave early in order to catch the train home.

Well set up, organized, a few 'ballers'''; they are definitely a bogey team, but glad we grinded out a result today! Our spirit is the highest it's been since the Great Man retired.

Winning at both Old Trafford and Anfield. Bogey team indeed.

Pretty sure today was their first victory against us since 2017?

They got a draw at Anfield last season.

Such a strange team as they've been dismal for large parts of this season yet still taken 7 points from away games in Manchester and Anfield. Better than any of the title chasers!
