Credit where it's due, he was pretty good today.

Yeah and I thought the keeper on that one did a good job of making himself big and covering all angles.
looks like a bit of luck with the goal and definitely the assist but sometimes that’s what you need. Hernandez kicked the ball into his own face once! Thought he got into good positions today and worked hard as always but a lot of what he does, like at Benfica, is not the crispest

I tried to convince everyone I know ( and myself) that the Nunez goal was a complete fluke. His assist was also just another miscontrol.
I am comfortable in that I will never give this guy even an ounce of credit for anything and he is easily my most hated rival player.

He looked good overall but mostly his movement and strength, there was a lot of clumsiness about his play especially some of his first touches.

Much as it grieves me, you have to say that the Scousers are more professional than our bunch of clowns in the boardroom. They identify a player and go and buy him, no pissing about arguing over money as such. Virgil was a prime example if it’s true that we went for him but baulked at the price but spent £millions on slab head.

Although we have spent huge amounts over the last few years, the biggest difference between us and City is that they have the money and can afford to make expensive mistakes. When we spend big, it has to work otherwise we're stuck. How many £50m full backs have City bought over the years?

Yeah I think him starting against Palace is a no brainer. Firmino should be fifth choice behind the other four we have.

I keep hearing how clumsy he is and how it's a bad thing. Suarez was probably one of the most luckiest and clumsiest dribblers I've ever seen in the PL but at the same time one of the best/one of the best strikers the league has seen.

Suarez was one of the most brilliantly bizarre players I’ve seen
his ability to get through players or get past situations by seemingly rebounding the ball off his oppositions was quite remarkable, he did it all the time as well too a point where you think this can’t be fluke anymore that the ball regularly found it’s way back too him
Like I say, looked flukey, probably was a lot of the time but when you play that way all the time, you become used to making your own luck and anticipating better, no one could handle that against him

Regarding that lucky bounce. He did it every game constantly, dunno how he does it, couldn't be luck considering it did it all the time. Unbelievable player.
