What's his achievement in all of this ? It seems like a work of the engineers and technicians than the fellow they're sending on a joyride.
He goes down in history as the first to do it I guess. He could also die

meh.. dont really care for this.. running a 2 hr marathon.. sure.. impressive.. being locked up in a box or clinging onto a balloon.. not my thing.

Over Arizona of all places, not exactly hospitable land if he comes down anywhere outside of the cities: desert everywhere, and covid.

You just know everyone’s only watching in the hope something goes dramatically wrong. A successful flight would be boring.

My mate said he was on Joe Rogan recently and he said there is some sort of support.
Hes got weights which he’s dropping to go higher. They can pop balloons remotely to go lower.
he’s also got a parachute as backup.
It’s like watching the movie UP!
