Struggled to stay awake in this second half. It’s just been so hilariously poor. Canada didn’t even look like scoring when they had a penalty ffs. Zero quality when it matters. A lot of huff and puff, good organisation, but final ball and finishing has been laughable.
That left winger Millar for Canada has been hopeless.

I only saw a few minutes. The Canadian 4 Kamil Miller looked a lot better than some of our recent central defenders.

Talk about a game of two halves! Great game first half, damp squib second half. How shit has KDB been? Never saw this kind of performance from him.
Canada have been gassed since 60th minute. And the forward decision making has been terrible.

Decent keeper? Decent keepers are the ones who are in mid table teams, he is the best in the world.
Courtouis showed himself in the UCL against english teams, when Madrid needed him the most, as important as Benzema.

On concacaf level perhaps. The way he messed up the team in the second half had impact in the sub-par performance. Hopefully he gets things right next match, helped by better finishing and a better Davies. Rooting for Canada after Portugal.
Yep. This was the ref that finished a Can match 5 minutes before time. Perhaps use better level referees in the WC.

They did but that’s not the reason why they lost though.
They created plenty of chances and were bossing the game. Belgium couldn’t string more than 2 passes together and were there for the taking.
Belgium will get out of the groups after that I guess but will go out against the first side that can combine the pace and athleticm with the end product Canada lacked on that showing though.

Yep. I understand some players were gassed and there aren't a lot of quality choices but it did have impact.
I only saw bits and pieces but it genuinely looked like De Bruyne had no interest in being there.
