This Brazil team would look a lot more threatening with Firmino up front imo.

Amazing how tight all these matches are. The only convincing win for a big faviroite has been Belgium and even that was a tight first half.

This Bolanios player is so shite.
Was going to say the same. Wastes every good opening for Costa Rica.

Brazil 0-0 Costa Rica

Christian Bolanos has made a real difference since he has come on and it tells you that Costa Rica do feel they can go on and get the three points here.

IMV Paulinho has been their best player today.

What's the point in having both Casamero and Paulinho in the side against Costa Rica?

Tight game, Costa Rica has looked far better than expected (or Brazil has been far worse than I expected).

Ney-Ney should have scored that.

A draw here would mean "unstoppable" Brazil have earned just 1 point more than Argentina in crisis in the WC. Surely not.

The amount of passes Casemiro misses is incredible for a player that’s so important for Brazil and Madrid

You cant have a team full of them though and then complain that the team lacks incisiveness and imagination. If we spend what is being quoted for willian i guarantee in 2 to 3 years at most he will replace valencia as a rb after delivering meh resultd on the wing. My comment is based on watching him for chelsea and not just this match or the previous one btw.
I think that would be quite likely to happen
Don't get me wrong I don't want us to sign him, I'd like us to go all out for Bale, but I could easily see it happening

Ruiz has beautifull technique. If he was slightly quicker in his play he’d be world class.

Not watching the game but how are brazil playing?

It seems a lot of people rushed to tip them for the world cup seemingly on the basis of some sort of cyclical prophecy that they were due, but it doesn't sound like they are convincing. I only heard one pundit before the tournament that said they play negative football and are missing something of the Brazil teams of old, wish I remember who as they had obviously done their homework.
