You ain't half stingy. I pay £40 a month for the PL/FA cup.10€/month is about what I'd be willing to pay for coverage of every league and every cup in Europe. Make it happen!

Yeah a 0,4dl of beer costing £10 puts it into perspective.£40 is pennies in Norway

Hasn't TV2 signed a deal to show some CL matches? No way I am paying for Viaplay as well as TV2 (you just know TV2 will bump up the price as well now that they show CL).This
Next season we have to fork out for Viaplay too.. to get the domestic cups and CL!
Yeah, they have. Although I can't imagine they'll show enough matches for us to watch the whole United CL campaign (if they get there....)! I am sharing TV2 Sumo with a mate, so I guess I can fork out for Viaplay too, but it is starting to get a bit silly then.Hasn't TV2 signed a deal to show some CL matches? Service like DAZN would clean up in Norway, but surely the government would find some way to outlaw it like they do with all things fun like casinos etc.
Yeah we are being conned. You call it stingy, I call it sane
Seriously, pay TV offerings in sports, especially football, are ridiculously overpriced. I get Netflix AND Amazon Prime TV for a bit over 10€ a month, and I'm certainly not going to pay 20, 30, or 40+ € per month to subsidize outrageous several-100k-per-week EPL wages for the likes of Rooney and Ibra.
They also have La Liga, Serie A.. not sure about Ligue 1 and they showed many games from smaller leagues (they started to broadcast lots of our games towards the end of the season for example). Also cups. Or do you mean you just used it for the PL?I have it.
It's ok. Not great I would say, in fact I was thinking of cancelling but heard they got CL for next season so will see how it goes. This year was purely PL I think.
They also do other sports, baseball American football etc...
Not sure about those as I don't really follow but for football it was all German commentary
Difficult if not impossible because of VPN's. By only allowing certain credit cards it's much easier to geographically control who signs up. It's the same if you try to sign up for Netflix e.g. in another country that has cheaper price than yours.I liked the idea of this but when I was in Munich last month I tried to subscribe and I couldn't because my credit card wasn't German. That's idiotic.
If they want to control regional copyright issues then just block subscription attempts from IPs that are located outside Germany, Austria and Lichtenstein (countries where DAZN have bought the broadcasting rights, if I'm not mistaken).

It's getting worse and worse. I think I'll get a VPN and subscribe to one of the foreign services. This

The ones I've tried have, things like Hulu and Amazon won't accept foreign cc. I also tried to sign up for Indian and NZ (or perhaps Australian, don't remember) Premier League subscriptions a while ago, neither accepted foreign credit cards (including virtual cc like entropay). It's getting worse and worse. That NZ one did, i signed up myself. So did both Bein Sports and Star sports in India for that matter. The ones I've tried have, things like Hulu and Amazon won't accept foreign cc. EDIT: Just reading an article on Bein and apparently the CCCs are a mixed bag, some work, some don't.
115£ a month
Boom... That´s what we think.
The calculation up to this point has been that they make significantly more money from licensing their rights on a territory by territory basis. Most pay-tv platforms effectively pay over the odds for key sports rights as it allows them to sell their expensive channel bundles to consumers. It's also guaranteed money rather than the risk of trying to build a subscriber base from scratch.I've often wondered why the premier league even sells the rights. They could just have a global internet site and charge every user €15 a month. If the figures watching it are true that's a potential $15 billion a month. Surely it makes more sense.
Bloody hell. That's regular price in pub?Yeah a 0,4dl of beer costing £10 puts it into perspective.
Do you live in Japan? I've seen adverts for the site but haven't looked, sounds like what I need as my previous subscription with J Sports turned to crap last season. Also available in Japan. 12.90 CHF/month, first month free without any need for subscription. I stumbled upon this option in the Fall but didn't know of anyone using it so never looked further into it - I did read some anonymous reviews online that suggested that the service could provide disclaimers for certain matches at the last moment to prevent viewing and CL or live Bundesliga matches were rarely, if at all, available.
What are the on demand games like? Is there a wide variety and how long after the game do they appear?I pay 9,90 EUR in Austria. For that I can watch EPL, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1.
Before that only to watch EPL you had to pay around 40 or 50 EUR for the Sky package here.
I cannot believe they won't charge extra fees for CL. However, I would easily pay twice the amount per month.
Great service and fantastic value for the money.
Also the commentators are solid.
Now I would just like to find a way to stop paying those shitty 25 EUR pm for the unnecessary state TV you are forced to pay once you own a TV.
Agreed, the only problem is that they can show only one game at a time, meaning that you miss a United game if they show another game at the same time. I am not sure about the CL, let's seeDAZN's been such a success here - so much football, good pundits & the game's usually run fine. On top of that, 10€/month is unbeatable.
Really? I thought I remembered being able to sometimes chose between 2 or 3 games at the same time (not all of the 3pm kick offs tho and no simulcast except at the end of the season).Agreed, the only problem is that they can show only one game at a time, meaning that you miss a United game if they show another game at the same time. That's not true at all. I regularly have a choice of many games. If they leave the pricing as it is once they have CL (the season after next btw) then I am very encouraged that this could be the beginning of a massive change in the way sport is offered around the globe. The only issue I have with DAZN is that the streaming quality still doesn't come close to mlbtv for example - they really have it sussed but they have mega bucks to develop such a quality platform.Agreed, the only problem is that they can show only one game at a time, meaning that you miss a United game if they show another game at the same time. I don't have that option. I can watch 1 PL game at a time only, and I cant choose which game that is. Probable depends where you live. Quality is very good though, I never had a problem (I stream it directly over my TV via an app)That's not true at all. I regularly have a choice of many games. Nope, Suisse!Do you live in Japan? I've seen adverts for the site but haven't looked, sounds like what I need as my previous subscription with J Sports turned to crap last season.
Edit: no PL or CL (CL in 2018/19 season). I would have registered with either of those leagues shown.

Hmm, ok. well, in DE at least I have a choice of games on a regular basis - just not all games on a given match day. For me the picture quality is best when I stream via their website and watch on the laptop. I also stream via FireTV and PS4 - both leave a little to be desired.I don't have that option. Yes, perhaps a bit under or a bit over depending on location.Bloody hell. That's regular price in pub?
