Yeah he'll never make it to 4th!

I have no idea how Cutch is lining up or how his decades are shaping up. Is Maldini left back or centre back?

I guess if he gets Best Rummenigge is out, which would be a huge improvement with the real width Best gives

Post match views from the man of the match Johan Cruyff : "I came into this team a week ago, knowing we had to play a team in hostile conditions for us against fan favourites at their home. It was refreshing to play with some of my great contemporaries like Gerd and Zico. I couldn't have wished for better support to execute my plans. At half time my manager gave me more freedom and nothing was stopping me from ripping that Spanish kid a new one. I see that George has once again tried to match me on the pitch, well he came quite close, closer than ever before.

Now if you could excuse me, I have a party to attend."

A never-nude? I thought he just liked cut-offs.
Just came into the thread to catch up on the posts I'd missed and vote as I thought it was open for another few hours. I was heavily leaning towards voting for Aldo so I'm kind of relieved he's went through as it would be a shame if my tardiness had cost him. Gripping game chaps!

Awesome penos!

How anyone complains about using that to decide a draw I'll never know. It's a draw after 42 votes FFS, of course a random outcomes is as fair as you could get.

Congrats Aldo. Tough luck Brwned.

Great game.

Just to expalin. Roma was actually a good keeper, unfortunate to be Carrizo's contemporary.

He was originally referred to as "Tarzan", but as with many large-frame goalkeepers longevity can bring about a bit of overweight. River fans started calling him "The Pig". Boca fans acknowledged he no longer looked like Tarzan but tweaked it to "The Flying Pig".

Cheers that bit of info anto. Speaking of Carrizo, he actually my first choice and I had him in my plans somehow completely missing out that he was from 20s, had even selected his picture that I was going to post before finding the bad news. :(

Lucky you. If Carrizo were 30s I may well have picked him. I was hellbent on an 80s keeper though.

Aye I thought I had hit a jackpot only to come crashing back down. Not to unhappy with Roma anyway.
Didn't get that Pete, who would that be?

One point to make though is it was "Chancha Voladora", which would imply it's a female pig specimen. I laughed out loud when Aldo picked him posting this pinky rainbow pic.

 I had no idea, but I just had to post that pic. :D
