Was it quite a good torrent site? If so, it seems there is some exclusivity to entrants?

It was the best popular one. Yes and no. It was semi-private so every now and then they had an open day, otherwise you needed someone to send you an invite code.

Every torrent seemed to have hundreds of comments talking about it, rating it, etc. Even minor torrents were seeded for a long time too.

Yeah, much better places to get stuff these days.

Demonoid was cool 5-6 years ago though, used it often back then.
