A bit of a ramble,Devilish.I'll try and condense it down to what seems to be your main gripes about me (leaving aside the abuse or criticisms (sic) you heap on my team which obviously I don't share ,so let's agree to differ there ,shall we?):
a)Why do I come here?
I like a good argument and sometimes it's possible to get one,even here!Seriously,it's a bit boring always talking about football to those who are like minded.The banter on here is often quite amusing and we all enjoy getting one over our opponents ,don't we?Just see how many of you were desperate for my presence here after an Arsenal defeat.

I don't criticise Man Utd ,as such.I am often complimentary especially when your team plays well(as it did against Juventus) and of your players,such as O'Shea.However,many of you confuse justified criticism with abuse and react with abuse which of itself only adds to my contempt for the response.
However,I do like to criticise the following
-the arrogance of many of you who clearly only discovered football in 1993 or after finding out that Becks was about to marry Posh aka 'glory hunters'
-those who criticise Jeffers for diving but fail to see any wrong in RVN for doing the same and for doing it much longer
-the psychotic nature of your captain
-the intimidation of referees by your players and manager (when was the last time a penalty was awarded at OT..remember Keane's rabbit punch last year on Joe Cole ?)
-the general failure of many of you to applaud other teams when they play well and your sense of God Given right to always win the title(eg how many of you thought Arsenal were lucky a)to be champions last year and b)to knock you out of the Cup??...at least after our league defeat against you I was immediately on here giving your lot credit where it was due)
- ignoramuses like Van Nistlewanker who can't see that Henry is a far superior footballer to RVN
and probably much more .So there you have it.
However,special mention for the following who generally add to the quality of debate and aren't so blinded by their tribal loyalties they can't accept genuine criticism and are able to see the quality in other teams ...Spinoza/Livvie/Davo to name but 3,there are more but I can't remember all their names.Actually,I'll cover it in another thread !!
Lastly,can I point out that Arsenal are not 'always trophyless'.I can point to 3 at the moment if you include the Community Shield.

Unlike Nate, Gillespie you had talked with brains and that demands respect. And yet you have done the biggest mistake you could have done, and that is to generalise all Manchester United supporters in one type. Reading the post you have noticed that there are loyalists like Boring, realists like I am (although I do make mistakes mind you) and moaners. This is the concept that you should have learnt long ago while participating in several of our topics, a lesson that you seem that you haven’t learnt.
While I don’t rate Wenger at the same level of a living legend like Sir Alex Ferguson (his obsession in fighting The MAN who had LEAD this decade of English football), I respect Wenger (I am one of the MANY Manchester United supporters who admire a good thing when they see it). The man had constructed a solid competitive side out of nearly nothing (a tactics that its creators (Manchester United) had forgotten how to do) and had proved to be a winner in the EPL, stealing the limelight from Manchester United (in transition period). You are the only able competitors, the ones who can pip titles out of us and the fact that sleeping (nearly to death) giants like Liverpool had turned more Gunners than Scousers (read the previous posts) shows that. Well done
But while as an English man I respect your power, as a Continental person I can assure you that you are light years away from reaching Manchester United’s glory. This team had written history in gold dominating the English football for a decade and winning the Holy Grail that makes part of the only REAL Treble in England ( not the Scousers plastic one). Pipping important trophies here and there while being humilated by Valencia and Juventus reserves isn’t exactly what you call it a dynasty isn’t it? I agree there is a certain aura of arrogance around the Manchester United supporters, but at least they have seen (not during the Flint stones time mind you) their team dominate football for so many years. Mind you its wrong to be arrogant but how can you describe the arrogance felt in certain supporters (like Scousers and the Gunners) whom teams had won a pale shadow of what Manchester United had achieved in the past decade? And this aura of arrogance doesn’t touch only the supporters. It had also touched some Frenchman of yours who had claimed that his team will win the Treble (the real one Scousers) without losing a game. Great Arrogance isn’t it?
Another thing is the obsession many clubs (you seemed not immune by it Gillespie) of having a contact with Manchester United. I once entered the Gunners site while I had never visited the Mickey Mousers official site (www.Waltdisney.com maybe?) but the majority of the ABUs goes to our sites, write in our forums (as you do) and are literally obsessed about us. Why? The truth is (call it arrogance but you know its true) that the EPL will not be the same without us and this is showed by the dramatic increase of home supporters “supporting their team” when they meet Manchester United. I thought that the chant “you only came to see us” was arrogant, but by witnessing it I can assure you that it is true.
Now let me spare the last words to Nate, our Scouser fan. I am doing so not because he deserves importance but seeing him jumping here and there (trying to catch attention), in a post that he is out of place, in a forum in which he is out of place, makes me pity him. Pity is such a hard word but there is no other word used for a dying Lion like Liverpool (After all Nate represent his team) whom I had the honour to see her in its last moments of glory (no not the plastic treble). This Nate’s desperate behavior is what I like to call the Liverpool’s syndrome.

6) A Worthless cup final becomes the only reason to live
7) You start supporting other clubs (that happens to be your rivals too) successes and make them your own (witnessed by Nate posts)
8) You start giving great names like Trebles to every minor breadcrumb of success left by the big teams
9) You start smiling for nothing, calling rival’s supporters names (like Glory Hunters and fools) instead of confronting them in a civilised discussion
10) The winning or losing of a Worthless cup against the Right team (important this issue) can determine the idolisation or the sacking of the clubs manager
