Werent we supposed to be trying to agree a link up with Heerenveen a while back I wonder if this is related
Sorry I don't get it.. Have we officially linked with them? or what is your point?Great shout, well done.
I do not think we will drop the link with Royal Antwerp as they are the best club to deal with work permit issues.. iirc Belgium rules ensure they have one of the lowest amount of time spent in Belgium with a club to gain a dual nationality..Wouldnt surprise me if Antwerp are dropped next season, Off no real benefit anymore. Heerenveen would be a fantastic feeder club for us. Plus our youth players would come on leaps and bounds over there.
3 years in Belgium, 5 in Holland, if I am not mistaken.I do not think we will drop the link with Royal Antwerp as they are the best club to deal with work permit issues.. iirc Belgium rules ensure they have one of the lowest amount of time spent in Belgium with a club to gain a dual nationality..
But isn't it like 2 in Spain and Portugal? Why not get one there?3 years in Belgium, 5 in Holland, if I am not mistaken.
I could be wrong about Spain but I'm fairly sure Portugal is only 2 or so.Wow wasnt aware of that cheers. Bit mad that a few EU nations have different rules about the citizenship thing in terms of football.
I am not too sure about Portugal.. But I am dead sure Spain is way longer than Belgium! But isn't it like 2 in Spain and Portugal? Why not get one there?
That is fecking long!Flying Fox in the newbies confirms that it's ten years to get citizenship for players of non-latin extraction in Spain.
