release clause, 65mNeither. But would Haaland be any cheaper than Sancho? I suppose there's the English tax but regardless, top young striker, he'll cost a lot.
I'm that case, him.release clause, 65m
True, but honestly the asking price for Sancho is just too steep imo. Besides, hes only ever been in Dortmund and is unproven in the PL. If he failed here he would not be the first and that would be an utter catasrophy if we spent north of 100 million on himA constant reminder, we still don't have a starting first team quality RW after all these years.
Who do we have that's 'better' than Haaland? Given that he's an out and out goalscorer/predator and we have a few players who prefer to operate wide then cut in.Neither, We have better players at the club already and the two mentioned players are way over priced.
It doesn't active for another two years.release clause, 65m
Martial was the best striker in the league after the restart but now a lot of our fans want to bin him. Crazy.
Somewhat similar is a bit of a stretch i would say. All 3 are strikers maybe not traditional number 9's but they're not exactly wingers either, certainly not Martial and Greenwood. Personally i don't think any of them can effectively operate and provide the creativity from the right that Sancho could provide. I do think Haaland will be the better player of the two but Sancho would make United a more balanced team. From the outside I think you need Haaland way more than Sancho.
With Rashford, Martial and Greenwood you have 3 players how are somewhat similar to Sancho, but none of them is a real number 9.
Also, Sancho is a bit overhyped in England I think. He is very good, no doubt, but he needs a completely functioning team to shine. He doesn't light up the sky all by myself like for example Dembele did for Dortmund.
Additionally Sancho doesn't seem to be the most professional guy, he often came too late to training, was caught partying etc.
Seeing both players every week I wouldn't think twice and buy Haaland if I would be your manager haha
Martial is 24 and last season was the first season he got to play up front all season and he scored 23-24 goals. But that's just typical Martial, blows hot and cold. I said it in another thread, if martial doesnt better his goal tally from last season (17) then we should bin him. 6 years of hoping he's going to turn out to be a decent striker ffs, its too much dithering.
Even without a release clause, Haaland would be a player worth spending 100+ million for.release clause, 65m
I would rather have Rashford or Mason or Martial in my team as they are multi functional players.Who do we have that's 'better' than Haaland? Given that he's an out and out goalscorer/predator and we have a few players who prefer to operate wide then cut in.
Haaland is far more mobile, two footed and intelligent than LukakuI would rather have Rashford or Mason or Martial in my team as they are multi functional players.
Haaland reminds me of Lukaku whom would score for fun in the Bundesliga but even then I would not want him back at the club I support.
Conflicting reports whether it's next summer or 2022. Anyway, 65M will seem even more of a bargain 1-2 years down the line.It doesn't active for another two years.
