Hasenhuttl and Frank seem like good options if they can get them. Bielsa might need more time to train his players to the standard he'd like and he doesn't seem like an ideal choice with a relegation battle on their hands.
Could be a very good buy for the right investor. PL club for a fair price with a brand new stadium already in the works.
It's really hard to justify buying United for 6b when you can buy Everton for 500m and throw some decent structure at them + a billion in transfer funds.

It will be a strange combo to be honest. They lack in a lot of things that makes a Bielsa team thrive.
United is a vanity purchase, like a super yacht. Everton will be like a trawler in comparison. Makes sense to buy a trawler for return on investment but no billionaire is gonna do it.

No chance of Frank leaving his brilliant project at Brentford to go save Everton from relegation and Hasenhuttl would be a big gamble.

Duncan Ferguson looks set to be named the new manager of Forest Green Rovers so there won't be a 3rd caretaker spell at Goodison for him then. The pashun of ''Big Dunc'' would represent a sugar hit for a couple of months to keep them up until the end of the season but it would wear off early next season anyway. Sean Dyche is available but how many Evertonians would want him? Perhaps now is not the time for Everton to think they're above a manager like Dyche. Bielsa needs a pre-season to get his players fit, attuned to his style of play and a summer transfer window to bring in his own players which Everton can't provide at this moment.

I think the problem is that I can't see Dyche accepting a 6 month deal like that or any manager aside from Big Sam and we already fecked him off.
I think he'd take that. Finishing 5th out of 8 in a mini-league with Tarkowski, McNeil, a better midfield than he ever had at Burnley and some decent players in Calvert-Lewin (target man), Maupay (passable 2nd striker if he doesn't play Iwobi as a 10), Gray is a better version of Gudjonsson, and similar level fullbacks, Mina is great in the air and Coady is smart enough, will seem doable to him and worth the risk of tarnishing his reputation with a relegation. He's won promotion twice so you could give him 18 months even.
I assume he'd ask for a RB, but that feels doable by the deadline, especially with Gordon money coming in.

Not my first choice by any stretch but we will see who we can get for him this window. His transfer activity doesn't fill me with confidence but he did get Cornet and Weghorst in his last window + Defour was an astute signing at the time. Hope he does well and keeps us up. Come on Dyche baby.
I reckon it’s a very good appointment for the relegation fight. He did a good job at Burnley on a tight budget so think he can keep Everton up.

It was probably the only common sense appointment out of the rumoured names.
Bielsa and Hassenhutl would have been unbelievable gambles with the composition of that Everton squad. Going man for man with a squad low on morale and quality or playing the latters high intensity football with slow defenders at the back doesn't make much sense when you need to steady the ship and avoid relegation. Ralph used to get hammered quite often due to his style of play.
