I've now gone

Mccarthy / fabianski

Schlupp Mendy Cedric

B. Silva Salah Son Jota

Aguero king Firminho

Hughes Bednarek Suttner

If Jota doesn't play up front I'll transfer him out and upgrade a defender an add someone like Kennedy in, think 6m defenders are generalities better than 6.5m midfielders
Think Son is out at a tournament for the first 4 GWs isn't he? Hence Moura on the scene.

Whoa....could a 433 be the answer?

Patricio
Rudiger Mendy VVD Shaw
Mane B.Silva Richarlison
Aguero Aubameyang Firmino

Can always do BSilva > Mkhi/Willian/Lingard if Pep drops him after a few weeks.

Robertson, Shaw, Davies or Van Dijk?

Jota, Mhiki or Willian?

Boruc or Speroni (2nd keeper)

Mine.

GK: De Gea, Pickford.
Def: Alexander-Arnold, B.Gibson, B.Davies, Laporte, Alonso
Mid: Salah(C), Guendouzi, Cairney, Neves, Mane
Fwd: Aguero(V), Rashford, Austin

Had to go cheap in midfield to price up other areas, but I think Salah and Mane on a very good day make up a lot of points. Also had to have either Aguero/Lukaku in there, will swap out if Aguero (if he's subbed, not used) for Lukaku when he's fully fit.

Do you think Alexander Arnold will start over Clyne from the GW1 and keep his place? how about Gomez at CB? When is Lovren coming back, would be worht apunt too

Consensus on Hart?

He’s a bit shite but Dyche and Burnley won’t concede much, and he’ll probably be their number 1. Played 90 mins tonight and kept a clean sheet.

I posted pages back about some £10 paid leagues that i run if anybody is interested. Had a few from redcafe in both variants. Can pay by either bank transfer or PayPal. Been going around 5 years now with lots that can vouch.

We currently have 26 in SDT and 23 in FPL with 2 days left to join. Everybody welcome, PM me.

Any Everton players worth taking a punt on? At the moment it just seems like you don't know how they're going to play.

I have Walcott in my draft team at the mo.
There are loads of newbies at the dotted line. Mina, Bernard at Everton, West Ham just signed Carlos Sanchez too. We're all putting our stuff on the washing line here but chances are we'll be wanting to bring in these add-ons sooner or later.

The nice FPL admin have at least added the very latest players before tonight's opening game.

Leander Dendoncker (Wolves) - 4.5m - thought he was a defender but is a midfielder
Carlos Sanchez - (West Ham) - the Colombian midfielder is also 4.5m
Danny Ings (Southampton) - 5.5m season loan to begin with - will he start over Austin? I think he will
Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa (Fulham) - 4.5m midfielder
Timothy Fosu-Mensah (Fulham) - 4.5m defender loaned from United
Andre Gomes [Barcelona to Everton] Loan - 5.5m midfielder
Yerry Mina (Everton) - weighs in at 5.5m but straight into the Everton backline?
Luciano Vietto [Atletico Madrid - Fulham] - loan deal, 5.5m striker, IDK anything about him
Martin Montoya [Valencia - Brighton] - 4.5m defender
Harry Arter [Bournemouth - Cardiff] - loan, 5.0m midfielder ought to walk into Cardiff's XI
Bernard [Shakhtar Donetsk - Everton]- Brazilian on a free, attacking midfielder at 6m. price would suggest he'll feature heavily
Mateo Kovacic [Real Madrid - Chelsea] Loan deal - 6m midfielder

Just a few highlights, all can be seen here

Help please! After the game against United, Leicester will have a nice run of fixture. I'm really tempted to put Vardy on my team. Will he play on gw 1 or is he still injured from the world cup?

5.0 defenders and midfielders

I’ve currently got Tarkowski and Cairney (also have Neves but keeping him)

Anyone got better options?

I would go with Kante, he should play every game and in a more advanced role now with Jorginho in the team. Can be a steal this year at £5.

Quite fancy a punt on Aaron Lennon for £5m. Haven't heard his name mentioned much. Kennedy, Hughes, Cairney, Ralls & Costa all worth keeping an eye on too.

I suspect TAA will be the top scoring £5m defender over the course of the season. The United players at that price are rotation risks. Morrison from Cardiff is apparently a real threat and Perreira at Leicester could be one to watch.

Aubameyang
Firmino

So unconvinced by my midfield. Extremely tempted to get rid of Salah, I could just make the team so much better as a whole.

My team would look much better if I ditched Sanchez but he's my only United player and I feel dirty if I didn't include at least one

Solid front three. Eriksen is often hit or miss, Schurrle is a fine choice, however Seri at 05m less may be just as effective.

Backline; who knows who will be in it for the Reds later - my guess it will be revert to type with Smalling in the centre, Shaw possibly and Lindelof, if Valencia is unfit still then there needs to be a right-back.

I can only really offer my defensive choices in comparison which are Coleman, Christensen, TAA, Gibson and Van Aanholt.

Don't think Lovren will start the seaosn. Not sure if he has featured in pre-season.

I thought the same but apparently he might cause they’ve got a few injuries at the back.
I'd probably go for Trent Alexander-Arnold if you don't have him. He's first choice and the same price as Lovren.

Changed my team about 20 times in last day. Those last 2 cheap midfielder spots.

He’s only young though and Clyne will battle him this season.

I know I’ve changed it a few times this morning.

Eriksen is as reliable as it gets, season to season as well throughout. Only doubt is if he can carry the team until the rest come back.

Please help me. Any tips choosing between the 5m liverpool defenders?

There are Lovren, AAT, Clyne, and Gomez

Also undecided for Mendy or trying for 1 of the 6m spurs defenders

Oh man now you've put another doubt in my mind . I'll stick with TAA if Clyne takes his place I'll put him in, same price.

My strikers pretty set gone for Firminho, Augero and Zaha, am gonna try leave 1.5 get Augero out for when Kane is back.

Midfield is ok too went Salah, Mahrez with Stephens as the super cheap 5th option. Last 2 spots I keep changing for Richarlison or Segesson with Neves or Cairney.

Defence ok for now. Risking Shaw for now as he is cheap.

Keepers gone for Pickford and Fabianski.

Team as of right now, will probably change five of them prior to the deadline though:

Forster
Coleman, TAA, Shaw, Bertrand
Mane, Bernardo, Eriksen, Sanchez
Aguero, Firmino

Reasoning:
Good fixtures between Foster and Forster, the difference between an outstanding GK and a relatively good season is not that huge. DDG 172 points last season, but six keepers around 30-40 points behind him.
Everton have good fixtures, needed a Liverpool defender (might put in Lovren eventually), Shaw for United-points until he is subbed for Young, Bertrand because Soton have relatively OK fixtures
Mane instead of Salah (I know, I know) - Bernardo because I think he looks hot at the moment, will switch him for Ramsey in GW3 perhaps, Eriksen and Sanchez need no further introduction.
Aguero and Firmino up top, like 90% it seems, will swap Aguero for Kane once I know he is playing and is firing on all cylinders.

The main thing here is Sanchez, he will probably be sold to make room for other players as we go along. All of these players have nice fixtures the first five games, all should be getting lots of game time (except for Shaw).
