Fantasy Premier League 21/22

41 with Pickford, James, Cash, Gordon, Countinho, Mane, Saka and Richarlison (c) to play.

Guy 3 points ahead of me has Schmeichel, TAA, Mings, Maddison, Gordon, Weghorst, Richarlison, Watkins left to play and blew his captain on Son.

Hoping to take a lead into the final gw and however many points it is will dictate my transfers. Son is priority for the armband vs Norwich. KDB would also be nice.

* Mahrez missing that pen cost me a Jesus assist as well

72 with 9 to play. It's going surprisingly well considering I totally half-arsed it in 10 minutes. Realised while drunk at 3AM on Sunday morning that I'd better pick my team now as I probably wouldn't be awake in time to do it on Sunday morning. Should do this more often

41 with 8 to go which isn't too bad but I've Pukki sitting on me bench with 8 and what's looking like a poor choice of captain in Zaha. I'm nowhere near winning any league but had a few weeks of green arrows so was looking for a bit of a differential. I wanted a doubler, was unsure of Madison starting both. Really should have gone with Richarlison.

Any reason why Schmeichel was dropped at the weekend? I was not expecting that. Was it just Watford are shite, give the young lad a start?

If Liverpool blow it this week then Mane > Son and Coutinho > Foden look good.

Have the exact funds to do Coutinho > Son and Jesus > Toney at the moment. Jesus looked good yesterday though and it'll likely be his final game for City at the weekend. Can see him scoring.

If I was gonna go -8 I'd bring in Son, KDB and probably Nketiah (Toney is £0.3m out of reach) for Mane, Coutinho and Jesus.

Son locked in captain so he doesn't feck me again on the last day.

Yeah. Brentan has said that Schmeichel will play the last two.

You have to laugh. Made up 50k places last week with my free hit and now I’ve dropped back down by 20k this week.

I’ve been lucky this year that everyone in my mini league has had a shocker.

Nketiah first on my bench. I kind of want him to do well, but I know Reece James will play 10 minutes and block him most likely if it comes to that.

Annoying I did not bench Cancelo which was my first thought, but worried about Nketiah starting so picked Cancelo for his nailedness.

Just did see it that I only got 3 defenders so Nketiah will not come on most likely.

Arsenal are so bloody bad. I think I do Saka to Bowen for last week and bench Nketiah if Schär is fit.
Maybe even playing Taylor as Burnley could get a result.

How much do we think Bruno G is going to be next season... Already thinking about a possible XI..

5.5.

Yeah I think my 11 if my expected prices are right will be like this depending on fixtures.

Dubravka
Shaw(if starting) Spurs both wingbacks Chilwell (if cheap enough),
Son Salah Martenelli(if cheap and starting), Bowen
Welbeck(if starting and cheap), Haaland

Then cheap bench. Probably can't afford this side if Haaland is too expensive.
I guess you can't have Son, Salah, Haaland with a good team.

I fear 11.5 Son, 13 Salah and 12 Haaland.

I think maybe get TAA and Robertson and go without Salah might work, but I fear TAA will be 8 and Robertson 7.5.

Haaland will be a 13M midfielder, because we need more midfielders in FPL.

Gallagher and Smith Rowe was 5.5 and I think they are not worse than Bruno. Usually they do not overprice central midfielders just cause of a good season. Jorginho with pens can get you 10 goals a season and is pretty cheap.

I'd be happy to get that 2500..... but only 3 from Saka/Nket was a tough pill to swallow.

But I have 10 to go this week, 12 next week. I mean, James, Matip and Robbo are in my team though

Form dependant, might be worth going with Jota or Diaz over Salah at the start of the season. Both Liverpool fullbacks might be more difficult to fit in this time, pick one + VVD. Chelsea and. Trippier is going to be popular, I'm hoping he's under 6m. I'll try and stack the midfield and go cheap forwards; Haaland will also have to deal with the roulette wheel.

If City buys new fullbacks then City def is a pure avoid. Ederson at 6 maybe best just for the safety, but too boring for me.

I think Haaland still is the best pick from City. I think he will play a lot. Maybe not get pens.

Potential to be Aguero good for them and I bet he is favorite to be top scorer next season in terms of goals.

With new players, that's always risk. Add in pep roulette and it's a one way ticket to rekt-ville

If there were enough number of reliable forwards and midfielders, then Pep's players are an easy skip. But when it comes to seasons like this one where many players in mid and premium range were utter unreliable, then we have no choice but to take a punt on Pep's players.

Shitty 2 pts from Saka leaves me 1 behind still. I guess Mane won't start tonight either.

I really could do with an 8 point buffer so I feel comfortable bringing in Son, Mount and Alonso for Mane, Coutinho and Schar in 38.

I think there's a valid case for going 'NoSalah' next season from the off (depending on prices). Only 6 goals since Afcon (16 before) could be an indication of him tailing off (he'll be 30 in June).

Even ignoring that second half of the season, Trent and Robertson are better value for money, Diaz has settled in immediately and Mane would be back on the table if they price him correctly now he's playing as a #9.

Well yes pen taker for City will be interesting.

If Salah leaves then Fabinho on pens could be a good enabler, but yes normally do not like defensive midfielders even on pens.

Even if Ward prowse is pretty good.

Got rid 14th Feb, one of my rare good decisions

The issue with him I'd he will 100% be the most expensive player in the game and if he does carry on banging after a summer rest... It's hard to bring him in with one move...

That's probably been a season deciding season for most. Keep him for that price and you keep falling behind Son or KDB owners especially Son and the other way round you are flying. Been the biggest swing reason for most.

I think calculated ignoring captain. Salah 19, 6,1,3. My replacement 3, 1, 0(6), 30.

Since I would not captained Salah for the 19 and did with KDB for 30 it is a pretty good.

Problem is I have used the money to make my team weaker by getting guys like Mahrez and selling Barnes.

Even dropped the FH heavily suggested Diaz too. Trollopp  Have always said Alisson was the safest bet if you were chasing clean sheets mainly, but no bonus potential.

Matip hat trick, thanks.

Wow what an awful lineup. Second time this season.

Klopp has changed and rotate more this season.

I think it is quite stupid and I hope they get punnished, but knowing my luck they will win today and get the title with my fantasy side suffer as well.

When they have gone weak before they have got results.

His rotation has gone amazingly well (given the options he has compared to Pep) but this feels like a huge throw of the dice as well as an eye on the CL

It is that he is so extreme. Pep rotates 3-4 players like every game and never go full B-side even in league cup. Klopp rotates his 7-8 best players in two massive games.

He will probably get away with it and win the title.

Of all the basts to score, it's the one my 8th placed rival has.
While TAA doesn't turn out for me.

That'll have us pretty much level, with me sweating Couty doesn't resume earlier season form.
