reading a lot of the different posts here and I can understand fans freaking out with ronaldo who has been our best player for the last number of years leaving
we have to trust fergie though - talismans have left before and they've been replaced - after cantona left fergie brought in yorke and sheringham (although it took a season to get teddy on form and to bring in yorke) and we played the best football we played in the 90's
its all about how we progress from here and this time, unlike when eric left, we have had time to identify players to replace ronaldo and think about the squad for next season
it took us years to get van der sar after schmeichal but we didnt miss hughes, kanchelskis or ince in 95 and after ruud left we played the best attacking football of the 2000's IMO
it all depends where we go from here and i trust fergie to get it right
