Inception and Inglorious Basterds would be two that spring to mind. Watched both in the cinema and thought they were excellent but never got around to them again.

Any films you have seen and enjoyed but never bothered to go back to?

It only came out last year but I don't know how it will be to watch it again. Maybe better because it will be less anxiety inducing

I watched it for a second time, with a mate that hadn’t seen it.

The difference was huge. I could feel the anxiety radiating off her. I still felt it, but knowing how it ends definitely lessened it.

Schindler's List. Too harrowing.

Shutter Island, Avatar to name a couple. I feel like there are quite a few that fall into that category for me.

The Irishman. Really enjoyed it but I doubt I'll ever set aside 3.5 hours to watch it again.

Indeed but it’s precisely why I watch it every year around the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. Never fails to bring me to tears. Ralph Fiennes does a quite terrifying job of his portrayal of Amon Goeth.

Fiennes is superb, yeah. I just cannot watch it again though.

The Pianist.

I thought it was absolutely fantastic but for one reason or another I've just never gotten round to it again.

I nearly put this but thought I’d rather put it in the ‘Films you thought were overly long boring shite films that you’d never watch again’ thread.

I enjoyed 21 Bridges, for me a solid cops and robbers popcorn flick elevated by a few A-listers in the cast. I certainly don't need a second viewing though.

I didn't mind the film but how on earth did Juliette Binoche win an Oscar for her performance? Sheesh...

Almost as surprising as how well Kevin Costner did with the epically dull Dances with Wolves.

SALO. 120 days of Sodom. Although to say I enjoyed it might not be accurate. Impressed, yes, horrified to the core also yes.

I only rewatch average/bad movies I think.

I’ve probably seen ‘The Core’ more times than any other movie.

I've watched that twice and yet have forgotten literally everything that happened in it.

Every film I’ve enjoyed since about 2005.

Don’t know how anyone finds the time to rewatch films these days. I can’t keep on top of new releases.
This absolutely. Lots of films I would love to watch and take more time for, but these days, I am often happy if I get to watch part of a film while paying bills online...

I mean, is there any reason to ever watch that again?
